Summary of past chapter: highschool was just starting back, and Sophia HATED it already. To make things worse, bullies were already targeting her. She decided to go sit by a tree and she finds there is a boy, he talks to her and gives her a nickname of Ruby, coincidentally he sings her a song called 'Ruby.' He doesn't get a chance to finish his song so he invites her over at his house at 5:00.

After my encounter with Tyler my mind wouldn't shut off. And I know it's 'school' so my mind ain't supposed to shut off, but it wouldn't shut off about Tyler.

His beautiful voice was.... astonishing.

I was so excited when the final bell rang. I couldn't wait to hear the rest of the song, maybe that'll help me stop thinking about him.

Wait....

I shut my locker and begin to walk to the front entrance.

I don't have his address. GOD I'M STUPID!

"Wait up!" I heard a voice from behind me. I turn my head to see Tyler running up behind me. "I forgot to give you my address. Why don't I just walk you there?"

I nodded but kept my head high so he wouldn't tell that I was shy. Or that I cared or something.

"Hmm." He hummed softly while smiling. He began to walk, and I slowly walked behind him.

After a few seconds he turned his head to look behind him, and quickly grabbed my wrist and pulled me to his side. It wasn't closely to his side, but it was enough for me to blush. I look down.

Damn it. YOU DON'T LOOK DOWN GIRL!

I beat myself up about it, but kept silent as we walked. His hand was still on my wrist, and it wasn't like he was keeping me there he just didn't seem to want to let go.

When we arrived at his house he grinned greatly as he ran up to the front door.

He took his keys and began to unlock the door but paused. He turned his head to me.

"See, um, my parents are very embarrassing and so are my siblings. So just- just do what I do and we can avoid them." He waited for me to nod before continuing unlocking the door.

He opened the door slowly and put his arm out in front of me so I wouldn't go in. He then enter the house and looked around.

He sighed with relief before he quickly grabbed my hand...

M-my hand?

...and ran my into the basement.

Wait... the basement?!

"This is my room." He smiles and plops down on his bed.

"Oh thank god." I let out a sigh of relief.

"What?" He asks, his eyebrows furrowed.

"N-nothing." I smile and he pats the bed next to him.

"So, I have a piano and an ukulele. Which one should I play first?" He says as I sit a few inches away from him on the bed. For safety reasons.

I don't know this man.

I smile.

But I love him already.
