The nights and days have been long , it hadn't been much since she left but it felt like eternity , i tried calling her many times but she wouldn't answer , i sent her hundreds of messages but no answer as well

She drove me crazy

I thought in myself that maybe she needed time , but she literally broke up with me , and here i was believing that our relationship was getting better when we had sex  that night after a long time

I still believe it , I wasn't giving up on her

Where we were all having dinner together, silence roamed the hall , since I've become more aggressive than usual

Eda's absence affected me badly

" i need to say something " mother suddenly spoke and we all looked at her , i gave her a glare before resuming my eyes on my plate . I was still angry with her , she's the one who let Eda go instead of waking me up , she knew how much Eda means to me

" as you all know , in two days , the board will hold the annual gathering " she said and i chocked , the annual gathering , all the mafia families will attend it , including the Perez , which means ..

" they expect us to be peaceful, since they know about our latest feuds with the Lucianos " she stated and i looked at her , confused

They expect us To be peaceful ?

" yeah , whatever , we'll be there " i said before getting up and head to my room , as i was climbing the stairs , i heard footsteps behind me , i turned around to find Valerie walking behind me

" what ? " i said ; " you seem rather calm than usual " she told me and i narrowed my eyes at her
;" what do you mean ?" I asked ; " I'm talking about Eda ! It seems you've forgotten about her Chase , are you gonna let her live with her evil family " she stated

" of course not " i said ; " then when are you going to act ? It's been already five days , she's probably gotten used to them already " Valerie uttered as i was walking to my room , with her following me

" what's your plan , i wanna be in it " she added ; " there is no plan , i meet Eda , i talk to her and convince her to come back with me " i told her and she giggled ; " something funny ?" I stopped and glared at her

" sorry , just tell me why do you think she's going to agree this time , since she didn't last time ?" Valerie asked and I realised that she had a point

" i have work " i sighed before entering my room and slamming the door in her face , she was damn right, why would Eda agree this time ? Is it any different ? Never have I imagined the day where a girl would break up with me , well , never have I imagined myself loving a girl so much

I guess this is how love works

Going back to school felt different , it felt , dead and emotionless , my professors and classmates paid their respects to me for my father , even the principal , she told me i still can get a week off , but i refused , I've gotten enough rest , i needed something to keep me busy and distracted from the drama I've been living

But everything was again different , grandmother told a driver to always take me and pick me up , but i think it was more like ' keep an eye on her' mission

Other than that things had been going good and normal . I've even gotten along with Ryan , he was not a bad guy , but more like a boring one , all the time on his phone or either training with guns in the backyard , but he had been good to me
