What is this feeling inside me ? For the first time in my life i was having butterflies in my stomach , it's not the first time with Chase of course

Ever since we confessed our feeling to each other,  those butterflies wouldn't leave me

Right now i was at the caffe , for my morning shift , today was Saturday so we didn't receive a lots of customers, and i was finally telling Cassy about Chase , I didn't tell her that he kidnapped me tho

All what i said is that i met him around school, and now we're dating , explaining how i fell in love with him was complicated

" is he rich ?" She simply asked , after so many descriptions about him , that was the first question she asked

" seriously? " i frowned at her and she shrugged
" materiality is very important in this time " she said and i sighed ; " you still didn't answer" she insisted , i shook my head before answering

" yes he is , a little but I don't care about that " i told her and she smirked at me ; " i know you don't, lucky you " she said as she took another sip from her coffee

" and by the way , happy birthday bestie " she suddenly added as she grabbed something from her bag

I totally forgot about my birthday

" Cassy you really didn't have t-" i said right before she cut me off ; " spare me " she sarcastically rolled her eyes as she handed me the plastic bag she pulled out ; " thank you " i thanked her and she smiled winking at me

I opened it to find the latest Adidas shoes i always wanted to buy , my mouth curved into a smile , i put the little box down and hugged her

" I expect a good present for my birthday you know " she joked and we both laughed

When my shift was over , i headed home , in the kitchen 's table i found a note along side a wrapped box with it , i grabbed the note to read it , it was from my dad , telling me he was gonna  be late today due to his work and wishing me a happy birthday

I unwrapped the box only to find out he bought me one of the books i was so desperate to buy but couldn't find cause they were sold out , Fire and blood by George RR Martin , one of my favourite books of my favourite show

How did he get it or where did he bought it from ? I'll never know , my dad always has his tricks and refuses to tell me

I completed my twenty two years today , i don't look 22 tho , i grew a little fast , I usually don't celebrate my birthday for a personal reason, i made that very clear to my dad and Cassy , that's why Cassy doesn't suggest going to some club and partying , but my dad would bring a small cake with candles and we would throw our small celebration

But since he's busy I'll just read the book he bought me

While i was sitting in the living room reading Fire and blood , my phone ranged , i picked it up to see it was Chase

He did take his time calling this day

" hey" i answered; " hey , where have you been ?" He asked ; " the caffe , then home , where HAVE YOU been ?" I repeated his question

He's the one who didn't call all day

" i was busy , sorry baby " he told me and my cheeks heated up

He's calling me baby now ?

" it's okay " i muttered ; "get dressed, we're going out" he said ; " where?" I asked
