A week passed since my encounter with my new family members who appeared from nowhere, right now i was at Chase's mansion , he suggested i move in with him for a couple of days , better than staying alone

When i woke up , Chase was already gone , he had too much work lately and i told him he didn't have to stay with me all the time

I washed my face and went down for breakfast, no one was around except for Bobby , we talked a bit before he made me breakfast and i ate it

After that i went out for a walk in the garden with Miles , I couldn't believe that I actually missed this place

            C H A S E

" the bastard killed Eda's father , he almost killed me , this is getting out of hand " i told my men as i glared at them , at the moment we were at the warehouse setting our plans again

" we need to find him , and kill him " i stated
; " but how will we do that boss ? We don't know how to find him " Mark spoke

" all of his hideouts are empty and there was no sign of him " Jason added

" he can't get far , listen to me all of you , we start tonight , Jason , Mark , you two go to the west side of the city , the Lucianos have a warehouse there " I started instructing my men on their mission and tasks

" Boss , is it true that Eda is a Perez ?" Mark suddenly asked as i was heading out , i turned and glared at him and he looked down

As i was walking away from the warehouse to my car , my vehicle exploded , almost exploding in my face , i fell on the ground as i felt incredible pain in my body

My men rushed to me pointing their guns out , thinking that our enemies are here , if i was five steps more closer to my car I would've been dead , Andrew and Theo helped me get up , i was fine , only few wounds in my face and hands

We went back home and luckily no one was around , so I didn't have to answer any body's questions except for Bobby , i told him i had a little accident and he bought it , i walked to my room and found Eda laying on the bed

Gosh seeing her was enough to make me forget about my injuries

She gasped at the sight of me , my clothes were dirty , my face was bleeding and my hands were covered in my own blood ; " Chase ! Oh my god what happened! Are you alright!!?" She came to me and her hands held my face checking me out

" everything's fine , just a little accident " i tried to assure her but she was hard to convince ;
" don't lie to me ! Who did this to you !?" She insisted on her question , i glanced at her with a smile and sighed ; " I don't know "

" what do you mean you don't know ?" She questioned, I started taking off my clothes and she helped me with them ; " my car suddenly exploded, I don't know who's behind this " i told her and her face went stern

" Luca , who else ? " she said with a frown , she knew Luca killed her father , since i told her

" probably " i said as i walked to the bathroom and she followed ; " you have to do something about him , how long do we have to suffer because of him , i swear if something happened to y-" she exclaimed before i shut her with my finger on her mouth ; " shhh" i hissed against her nose

" nothing's gonna happen to me , I promise " i told her , she pulled my finger away from her lips ; " you said the same thing last time " she said before grabbing the first aid box from the closet , she wiped away the blood i had on my face and hands

Later she put the bandages on my wounds and left the bathroom , i followed her , she was angry and i felt it ; " Eda , are you okay ?" I asked , her back was facing me , she brought her hands to her face , I stepped closer and stood behind her , I wrapped my hands around her waist and put my chin on her shoulder

" are you angry with me ? " I questioned; " you're not taking this seriously " she sighed before pulling away from me and turning to face me
; " my dad was murdered in his own house , the police couldn't do anything, I couldn't do anything , and you're acting recklessly , unbothered about the fact that his killer is out there , and today you could've been killed as well" she purred out , letting out her anger

I didn't answer , i gazed at her surprised from her , she closed here eyes , sighing before speaking again ; " I'm going to the library, please don't follow me , i wanna be alone " she said before grabbing her phone and leaving the room

I shouldn't have snapped at him like that , but he was really being irresponsible, he doesn't know how much i love him , he doesn't understand that he's all i have now , if i lost him then I'm totally all alone

I entered the library as i grabbed one of the books and took my place on the sofa , while reading , my phone ranged and i picked it up , it was an unknown number but i answered; " hello ?"

" Hello Eda " a voice spoke , " who's this ?" I asked ; " did you forget about me already ? " the voice answered and i immediately recognised it , it was my grandmother

" how did you get my number?" I asked ;
" doesn't matter sweetheart, how's Chase?" She said and i stood on my feet , confused, why did she ask about Chase ?

" why are you asking ?" I questioned; " well , after the car's explosion today i was wondering how is he " she stated and I concluded things up

" you did this ? " i asked , knowing damn well the answer; " i tried asking you nicely , but you're stubborn just like your father " she said and i gritted my teeth ; " that was my decision, you don't have to hurt Chase " i said in a loud tone

" he's the one holding you back , if i need to kill him so you can come to us so be it " she said ;
" you can't do this " i told her ; " watch me sweetheart, you have till tomorrow to decide , or i will keep on the small attacks until he dies for good "

that was the last thing she said before she hung up , i dropped myself on the sofa , i threw my phone away and put my face between my hands

What should i do ?
