Today was the most boring day ever since i came here , no one was at the house except for me , Valerie and Bobby , all the boys left with Chase , and Lady Lillian had some business at the charity

I did nothing but to watch Valerie cleaning her guns , she told me she's the sniper in their gang

Badass!

I played with Miles for most of the day

I was at the bedroom , reading Romeo and Juliet until Chase came in

I can't believe i was relieved to see him , but his arm was bleeding

" my god! What happened?" I tried to reach him but he was avoiding my touch

" what happened to you ?" I asked again but he ignored me  , he was getting his clothes from the closet , i can see that he was mad

He walked to the bathroom and took his shirt off , he was shot , a deep wound on his arm

" Chase!" I said in a loud tone , which made him turn to look at me , angrily

" you need.... to stitch it up , or it'll get worse"
i told him

" it's not a big deal " he said and looked away

How was losing blood not a big deal ?

" can't you see how bad it is ? Let me help you "
I said and he glared at me

" why are you concerned ? Don't act like you care about me , it's none of your business " he said in a rough tone , causing me to look at him , surprised from his reaction and the way he spoke to me

" don't forget yourself, you are merely a hostage under my mercy " he said again , i almost teared up

Did he have to remind me of that ?

I couldn't believe I actually started to care about him , i forgot what kind of a man he was

" fine , you don't deserve my help anyway , die for all i care " i told him before storming out of the bathroom and slamming the door at his face

I was stupid, people like him don't deserve to be cared about

I should be thinking about a way to escape rather than catching feelings for him

          C H A S E

Fuck ! so stupid of me , she was just trying to help and i let out my anger on her , we were finally getting along and i had to mess it up

Clearing my thoughts , i removed my final piece of clothes and got into the shower

Cleaning my body from my blood and dirt , when i was finished and after drying myself and putting my clothes on , i put a patch on my wound , preventing the blood from running down

Well that didn't prevent the pain

When i got out of the bathroom , i spotted Eda , covered herself with the blanked and resumed reading her book , i stood across the bed waiting for her to look at me , but she didn't, ignoring my presence

I let it slide and went to the balcony , having a cigarette, many things came across my mind , my failure , my men's death , the gold we lost

And me being mean to Eda , fuck

"Fuck it " i said as i went back inside

" Eda" i called out , she ignored me ." Look at me" i politely asked her

She rolled over to the other side giving me her back , i sighed and went to the other side as well

"I can do this all day " i told her , she sighed closing her book , she sat up looking at me

" what ?" She coldly asked , stern look on her face

" don't make this hard , I'm just trying to ..." i said and stopped , I've never apologised before

" trying to what ?" She questioned again

She was teasing me

I frowned at her " apologise , don't push it too far"

" alright , go ahead " she said , was she serious?

" I'm sorry " i said to her ." I'm sorry I couldn't hear you " she mockingly said again

What was she doing to me ?

I sat on the bed with her and she tried to pull away ." I'm sorry" i looked at her eyes and she gazed at me ." Apology ....accepted " she stumbled before looking away

" what happened anyway ?" She added , of course she did , curiosity ran in her blood , it's what got her here in the first place

" we ... were ambushed , they killed several of my men , stole the gold , and shot me " i told her and  her eyes went wide open

" oh my god , are the others okay ? and Theo ?" She asked , why the hell  was she asking about Theo ?

I was the one who got shot here

I let the Theo question slide and shook my head , meaning that everyone was good

" thank god " she said in a happy tone

Who was she thanking god for?

" wait ... you're bleeding again ..." she said pointing at my arm , my shirt got dirty with the blood again

I sighed and looked at her " Is the help offer still on?" I teasingly asked and she looked at me with a smirk

" i don't know , maybe with a little pleading ..."
She said , i glared at her , pretending to be annoyed

She looked at me nervously " or ...maybe not"
she said and looked down from embarrassment,
I couldn't help but to chuckle at her , she looked up and laughed with me

" but seriously, you need to stitch that up , do you have the hardware for that ?" She asked , i nodded at her before going to the bathroom and bring a box full of needles , patches and all that stuff

He took off his shirt and gave me his arm , i adjusted on the bed , grabbing the thread and needle , i was trained to do those thing at the med school

Taking a deep breath , after cleaning the cut i plunged the needle and started suturing his wound

A smart girl would've used the needle to pop his eye out and escape , i was no smart girl

" you're good at this " he told me and i smiled
" well i do go to a med school "

I used the needle softly trying not to hurt him , finishing the final step of closing his wound ,
" all done " i told him as i tried to reach the box of tools behind his back

Pulling back , our faces bumped to each other , our lips almost touching

His eyes captured mine before landing on my lips , so did i , i could hear my heart beating so fast for this man , my breath hitched , even time ceased for the both of us at that moment

Was it normal to fall in love with your kidnapper ?
