" Chase .." i said and he smiled at me ; " Eda"

We stared at each other for about two minutes , the urge to hug him was overwhelming

" what are you doing here ?" I asked , trying to not to show any thrilling expressions on my face

" i came to give you this " he said as he grabbed something out of his pocket , my phone

I had already forgotten about my phone and decided to buy a new one later when i have enough money , right now i was using a mini Nokia only to receive and make calls

" oh .. th..thank you " i thanked him as i took the phone, our hands touching sent shiver to my body , he was cold , like usual

I waited for his next move , he only came to give me my phone back didn't he ? I expected him to leave , but here was he still standing , scanning my face

" would you like to walk ? Show me around your neighbourhood?" He asked and i looked at him surprised , did he really want to walk in my neighbourhood?

" of..course .. come on " I nervously said as we started to walk in the opposite direction of my house , the way to the park i got back from

" so ..how have you been ?" He suddenly asked after a long awkward silence

" I'm...doing great ... i guess , you?"

" everything went back being boring again " he said and I chuckled

" oh c'mon, boring ? Really , mafia and stuff?" I said and he laughed ; " when you do it your entire life then it's boring trust me " he took a glimpse of my face and i looked away

When we arrived to the park , I suggested we sit on the stairs , surprisingly he agreed

" so .. how's everyone's else?" I tried to bring up a subject , prevent the silence

" everyone , is fine , they're annoyed you kinda left without goodbye " he said

" I didn't leave , you took me home , without telling me , not that I'm not grateful for what you did of course , but I didn't leave without a notice" I tried to explain , all what he did was laughing in my face

" why are you laughing!?" For no reason  i giggled with him too

" nothing i just miss this " he said and i looked at him confused

" miss what?" I asked

" this , you , arguing with you , hearing you trying to explain things randomly " he stated and i felt like my ears betrayed me

Did he just say he missed ..me?

"What ?" He asked as i was lost in my own thoughts , glancing at him

" nothing " i looked away

" this is a beautiful place , maybe i'll bring miles sometime for a walk " he added and i flinched

Was he planning to come again ?

" you're still , gonna come back ?" I asked

" yeah , why not " he said unbothered ; " of course, if you don't have a problem with that" he added

" no , no of course not " i said again , suddenly, my Nokia phone ranged , it was my dad and i picked it up

Anything to get me out of this awkward situation

"Hey dad ?"

" sweetheart, where are you ? You're a bit late , is everything okay ?" My dad questioned and i confirmed everything was fine

" I'm on my way ,  i just ran to a friend on the road " i looked at Chase who was smirking

After ending the call , i told Chase it was time to go back , we got up and walked to my house

Once we made it , he stopped me and turned to look at me ; " wait , wait , Eda" he said

" I've never done this before , I didn't need to do it , but here i am for the first time doing it " he stated and i was more than confused

" what do you mean ?" I asked

" would you.. like to have dinner with me , tomorrow , night " he said and i was stunned

Chase Romano just asked me on a date , the man who kidnapped me asked me on a date

I didn't answer immediately, just stared at him , shocked ; " Eda?" He called out my name and i was finally out of my mind's freeze

" so ..?" He asked again and i smiled at him

" yes..i would love to " i answered and a big smile appeared on his face , relief

Did he think i was gonna refuse?

" perfect! Tomorrow, at 8 , i'll pick you" he said , all nervous from the sound of his tone ; " okay"
I assured him

We smiled at each other and said goodnight before he went to his car and drove away

My mind was still processing what just happened
