Mitchell's POV

"You're so weird, instead of enjoying and living in the moment, you're hiding behind a phone screen." Mila's dress danced in the breeze as she shouted over the sounds of waves crashing at the shore and squawks of the seagulls.

"I am enjoying the moment." I wore a silly grin as I watched her through the phone screen.

Mila frowned and took hurried steps towards me. "Are you..." she trailed off and grabbed the phone out of my hand. "You're recording me?"

I grabbed the phone back and brought the camera back into focus. "You're all about capturing memories, so that's what I'm doing. Besides, you look so happy and carefree here, I wanted to capture it forever."

"Or you're just a creep who's going to use this footage to jerk off to."

"Yeah, that too," I laughed. "So do me a favor, lower your dress a little and give me something to work with."

"Pervert!" Mila scolded and tried to grab the phone back but I laughed and held my hand back.

"Fine, like this?" Mila stepped back and lowered her dress, showing off her perfect cleavage. "Or like this?" She suggestively winked and lifted the hemline up to expose her upper thigh.

"Or maybe you want to focus on something else?" Mila stepped closer and moved her lips in line with the camera lenses. She parted them and slowly ran her tongue over her bottom lip before she bit down.

I recalled being at a loss of words and even lost focus on the video and only saw her but in typical Mila fashion, she ruined the moment when she licked the camera lens.

"Mila, what are you?" I was shocked and a little horrorstruck at her action. "And you call me weird?"

Mila's giggles filled the space and I couldn't help but smile at the sound I loved so much. "Put the stupid device away and enjoy this moment with me, right now. When we go our separate ways after our trip, you can enjoy seeing me through a screen."

Just like that the video stopped and as I stared at my phone screen with a picture of Mila smiling brightly, I couldn't suppress my grin. I lost count of the number of pictures and videos I had of her and whenever I missed her like crazy, I went back and looked at them. Whether it was footage from our Europe or road trip, I always went back.

"I miss you my crazy Milo," I whispered under my breath and brushed my fingertips over her beautiful face.

I'd been in LA for two days and other than our brief call at the airport before I left, I hadn't spoken to Mila since. We texted occasionally but it was mainly just to check-in. Ever since I found out she hid her presumed pregnancy from me, things were very much off between us.

Did I miss Mila? Yes, like crazy. Did I feel like seeing her? Not at this moment in time. I loved Mila with everything I had, heck, she was my everything but I couldn't help the feeling of betrayal I felt. I understood her fears and sympathized with her but it fucking stung that Leo knew everything while I was kept in the dark.

I couldn't help but think she didn't fully trust me yet, not the way she trusted Leo. I wondered if she was more comfortable with him than she was with me. I understood she was in a work in progress and it took a lot for her to have a relationship. I appreciated all her efforts but something as big as this shouldn't have been kept a secret. If she could've told Leo, she could've spoken to me. What made it worse was even after she found out she wasn't pregnant, she didn't find the need to tell me.

I deeply sighed and glanced at the breakfast that turned cold on my plate. I raked my fingers through my hair and with a lost appetite, I decided to leave for the office.
