Alissa sat in the passenger seat and Eric sat on the driver's seat. He started the ignition and they drove off. Eric didn't try to even touch the radio cause he remembers the last time when he played the radio which song came. Eric is not very fond of listening to music though. But if he is driving to someplace or is going to a club he prefers the radio.
Alissa knew that he won't play the radio but the drive was getting boring and awkward because of it. Alissa thought to start a conversation but couldn't decide what to say.
Should I turn on the radio? She thought.
What if he found it rude? She was confused.
"What are your hobbies?" She asked without thinking.
He looked confused at first but said anyways "Umm...huh...I don't have a hobby, to be honest. Ah.. It's just..." He didn't know what to say.
"Oh! Alright" Alissa said quickly as she sensed the discomfort in his voice. She now decided to keep her mouth shut.
Eric pulled up in the parking lot. Alissa looked around her eyes shimmered with excitement.
An amusement park.
She loved to go to an amusement park when she was a child. But never got a chance to visit there often. She used to just look around and come back.
She looked at Eric and he was smiling at her. Happy with himself that he chose this place.
He came out of his car and opened the door for Alissa. She came out of the car too.
They both entered the amusement park. Alissa was so happy to come here.
They both started to go to different stalls. Alissa was growing an urge to sit on the giant wheel. But that would be quite rude for Alissa to say to Eric that she wants to go on there.
"Let's go onto that giant wheel" Eric said.
Alissa thought that he can read the mind of people or what? He must have sensed that she wants to go there because she was staring at it. She smiled....a big childish smile. He chuckled and bought two tickets.
They both sat on the seat and their breath was caught in their throat. And slowly it started. And started to gain speed. And then it was fast and joyful. And without even realising they both were squealing and hooting.
Alissa noticed a completely different face of Eric. The complete opposite person of what he always tries to show. A person who has got a heart. A person who is way far than just a womanizer. A person who can be good to be around. A person who is living and live every moment if he wants to.
Alissa didn't stop him from doing that. In fact she joined him in that. Alissa found herself being happy with him. She forgot her problems.
The giant wheel stopped and they both came out of it. Then they went to a different stall. It was a game in which they have to throw the ball inside the fishbowl. And if they did it then they can choose a gift for themselves.
Alissa took out the money from her purse but Eric held her hand. She felt electricity lovingly went through her body.
"Don't. It's my turn to pay" He said.
"But I never paid for anything till now" She said.
"You did lots of good things without knowing it Alissa" He said leaving her amused.
He took out the money from his wallet and gave it to the shopkeeper. He had three balls and took a deep breath. He threw the first ball.
Missed.
Threw the second ball.
Again missed.
Then threw the third ball.
Right on the target.
Alissa clapped her hands in the air. Eric took a teddy bear and gave it to Alissa. Alissa was so delighted by his such charming nature. She didn't expect that this person can be so a charming guy.
They both roamed here and there and finally came out of the amusement park. They both were laughing about something and giggling.
"Really Eric, it was a wonderful time" Alissa said.
"It was wonderful because of you" Eric said.
Alissa smiled and said "I forgive you, Eric"
Eric looked at her and said "Thank you. Although I do not deserve this forgiveness but it means a lot" Alissa smiled and they both walked towards the car.
The car ride was silent. Eric stopped the car in front of her house and wished her good night. Alissa was so happy that he chose to spend some time with her. She entered her house and closed the door behind. Now, she has to talk to Jade.
