Reading through the comments last chapter, you guys all have a lot of trust for Damon considering he's lashed out at Dante quite a bit and the bruise is real
Anyway Im back with the third update tonight and have no idea where this chapter is going so bare with me as it's going to be shit. No ideas for it at all. So we will see what happens 😂
"Em are you watching" Dante said, they were both watching TV whilst waiting for dinner just like yesterday.
Emilia however was to interested in her phone which Dante noticed.
"Teenager girls" he huffed in annoyance.
"Is it a crush" he proceeded to ask just as Matteo walked in with a bag of crisps.
"Ooo does she have a crush? I bet it's Antonio, or Evan, or maybe Luca" he practically jumped on the sofa as he spoke.
Just then Mason and Damon walked in, just getting back from work they heard talking so they decided to go to the living room.
"What are you talking about " Mason asked.
"Emmy's crush" Matteo said.
This got Damon's attention.
Emilia picked up the notebook that was laid on her lap and wrote
I don't have a crush!!
"It's okay if you do, of course we will have to meet him" Mason said smiling at the possibility of embarrassing her.
"Yeah it's definitely Antonio, I've seen them hold hands" Matteo added
Emilia glared at Matteo and Dante and Mason laughed.
Damon still had an emotionless expression on his face and considering his brothers were all smiles and laughing it did come off as scary.
"Antonio eh? Do we know him " Mason asked.
That resulted in Matteo Dante and Mason discussing Antonio and then Evan and Luca.
Emilia didn't like the topic but it's not like she could tell them, they might get angry.
"Enough talking. If Emilia likes someone then she will tell us when she is ready, until then you will all stay out of it" Damon said with authority when he saw how uncomfortable Emilia looked.
He then beckoned Emilia to follow him and she did.
"He's just a friend" Emilia whispered once they were both inside his office.
"And that's okay, I don't really care either way" he told her.
"Why am I here"
"You looked like you needed a break from them besides I thought we could talk"
"About what"
"Maybe your anxiety"
"Huh?" Emilia tried to play it off.
"I know you Emilia, and I know we have a very different relationship to you and your friends, but the hand holding? You do that when you're nervous. Maybe it's different with your friends however I have a feeling it isn't "
"Yeah he only does it when I'm nervous but my other friends all do stuff to help my nerves too. It's just nerves though"
"It might just be nerves but I've been watching you for a while and..."
"Seriously Damon you need to get a hobby other than creepy stalker" Emilia interrupted, she couldn't help herself and wanted to get off this topic.
Damon looked at her taken back by her comment. He laughed "wait until I invest in binoculars" he told her. She was suprised he went along with the joke. What she didn't know if anyone else made a comment like that, they would be 6 feet under in seconds. It was definitely insulting and no one but her would have dared say it.
"I'm feeling targeted right now" Damon muttered.
"I'm sorry Damon, would it make you feel any better if I make an apology video"
They both looked at each this time and laughed.
Damon smiled, she had laughed and it was amazing. She was always so unsure of herself, now he knew it was probably because she wasn't allowed to laugh or some bullshit. But now she had.
"I'm being bullied by a 16 year old" Damon muttered. He secretly enjoyed it though, he didn't appreciate it but he did like knowing she was confident enough to speak to him like that and of course he found it amusing.
"Oh my god Damon I need to show you something" Emilia said, ignoring his comment.
"Okay "
"So you know how I was on my phone talking to my friends in a group chat, they all thought I had a crush which I can't stress enough that I don't have one. Well anyway I was smiling because of what Evan sent us, he's big into tech and stuff anyway Antonio and Dante said yesterday there was bullying going around, is that why you were talking to her....wait don't anwser that. Oh I'm rambling, here just look"
Emilia handed her phone to Damon who was smiling at how adorable she was.
He looked at her phone, there was a video waiting to be played.
No volume was needed as their was sub titles which explained how she watched in front of Dante.
Someone had used her apology video and changed the words so it looked like she was talking about how she was thankful to have the cheerleader throw the milkshake on her and how she loved being bullied and to give your best insults.
"Oh god" Damon muttered not bothering to hide how funny he found it.
At the dinner table he would hide how much he found some things funny simply because he was the eldest, he had to take the bullying seriously. Even if he was the one doing it.
"I think I need an apology video, I need to see how sorry you are for calling me a stalker" Damon said.
"Correction, a creepy stalker" Emilia added.
"Brat" he muttered but smiled so she didn't take him seriously.
"Did you just call me a brat" Emilia accused, if this was Henry she would have run away or she would have been beaten already but she knew Damon had no malicious intentions.
"Stalker" she called him.
"Don't flatter yourself, I wouldn't waste my expert stalking skills on a brat"
Emilia laughed. It was new to her but Damon was actually quite funny and she felt comfortable with him the most. He was the scariest and when angry she wouldn't want to be in the same room but when he wasn't he was the best to be around.
"In that case I'm going to leave since you don't appreciate me" Emilia said crossing her arms.
Damon laughed "come here" he told her and she reluctantly did, once she was in reach he wrapped her in a hug "your so fucking adorable even when you try to be mad" he told her, she tried pushing him away but he hugged her tighter.
Emilia sighed and welcomed the hug. Damon was just so easy to talk to and funny.
"Damon" she mumbled.
"Yeah" he asked.
"Your my favourite"
I just loved writing this chapter, Damon in this chapter is amazing
Damon and Emilia are the cutest sibling bond and are quite funny together. Even writing the apology video part had me almost laughing🤦
Anyway hopefully it all makes sense as I didn't know what I was doing half the time. I had no idea this chapter would happen but I'm glad it does, it's mostly a filler as I don't want that bitch taking up all the chapters
Also I want to make it clear, they all see each other as friends, there is no feelings just yet between Emilia or any of her friends/Luca.
