Seeing Mari like this made me remember when my mom first found out I liked girls. She tried her best to keep me from my girlfriend. My heart was sooo broken. I really wanted to do something nice for her and Indigo. Because they deserved it.

After I gave Mari the keys, she went to the car and I went to Grant's office. I knocked on the door.

" Come in..." Gloria ( Mrs. Cotton) said

I opened the door and stepped in.

" I'm cutting it short today. I gotta take Mari home cuz she's not in the best of mood..." I said looking at Grant

"What you mean she's not in the best of mood. She wanted to talk to Indigo so I let her..." he said looking at me

"Grant you'll never understand..." I said before walking out his office and to my car

Mari was laying with her head against my windows looking outside. I rubbed her shoulder, started the car, then pulled off. I had to make a quick stop at Walmart to get our snacks and popcorn but I also had other stuff to get. The car ride was silent besides the low music that was playing. She was very sad and down. To be honest this the saddest I've seen her yet. We finally pulled up to Walmart, I found a spot and we got out.

"Mari you can get all the stuff for tonight while I go get stuff I need..." I said as we walked in

She nodded.

We both grabbed a separate buggy and went out separate ways. While I was away from her I decided it was a good time to call Indigo. I pulled out my phone then called her. She picked up on the third ring.

"Hello..." she said softly in a sleepy voice

"Hey, did I wake you??" I asked grabbing stuff I needed

"Nah, I was dozing off but I wasn't sleep
yet..." she said moving around

"I called to see were you okay??" I asked walking down the isle

"Yeah just kind of sad cuz I miss her, and she's away. I don't know how long she'll be away from me. I know she said she's doing this to protect me but fuck that. I need to see
her.." she said sounding like she was finna cry

I know Grant said they can't see each other but I gotta do something. I can't just sit here and let things go like this. I gotta find a way so they can see each other.

"How about I find a way y'all can see each other..." I said cuz I felt bad for them

"Really??" She asked surprised

"Yeah.." I said

"What about Grant??" She asked

"You don't worry about that, leave it up to me..." I said to her

"I really appreciate this Storme..." she said and I bet she was smiling ear to ear

"You know I gotchu Indi..." I said making her kiss her teeth, she sometimes hate when I call her that

I laughed and she chuckled

"Thanks Storme.." she said again

"You're welcome.." I said smiling

"I gotta go, but I'll call you back when I found out what imma do..." I said before we both hung up

I walked around Walmart got what I needed until I found Mari.

"You got everything??" I asked walking up behind her

"Yeah I just got to get the popcorn..." she said as we made our way to the popcorn isle

"Do you want regular popcorn or kettle corn??" She asked looking at me

"Wateva you want.." I said looking at her

"Kettle corn it is.." she said throwing them in the buggy

"Ooooo you wanna make milkshakes?? She asked looking back at me smiling

"Sure..." I said making her do this lil happy dance

We went into the other isle to get the stuff for the shakes, we checked out , I paid, and we headed home. When we made it home we got all the bags out the car and put them up. We both decided to take showers before we start watching movies. After like 35 minutes we both was done, we went into the kitchen, she made the shakes and I did the popcorn. We took everything to the front room, sat it on the table, and started a movie called Mara on Netflix. I let Mari picked the movie cuz I'll have us watching the same movies over and over again. The movie started, Mari went to get a big blanket, and we were eating our snacks. I can't lie Mari made the hell outta this milkshake cuz it was good as a bitch.

"This shake slaps.." I said sipping some more

"Thanks..." she with a smile still looking at the tv

I really wasn't playing attention to the movie. I'm really not a movie person so I was on my phone. I was strolling threw my phone and was cleaning out my phone, basically deleting shit I didn't need. While strolling through my contacts I came pass Kade number. A great idea popped up in my head. See Kade ole me a favor. He own this private beach house in Miami so I can take Mari and Indigo there, and nobody would know. Also while we there I can surprise my baby. See good ass plan.

"I gotta take a phone call, I'll be back.." I said to Mari

She nodded her head still watching the movie. I went out my patio doors and went into the backyard. I called Kade.

"Hello.." he said answering the phone

"Wassup Kade, it's Storme.." I said

"Wassup Storme.." he said

"I'm calling cuz I need that favor.." I said

"What can I do for you??" He asked

"I need to use your private beach house in Miami.." I said leaning against my wall

"For how long??" He asked

"For like a week.." I said

"When you need it??" He asked

I looked at my phone. Today was Tuesday so Friday should be good.

"Imma need it Friday.." I said

"I can fly you got on the private jet too, if you need it..." he offered

"Yeah we can.." I accepted

"Well I'll call you back Wednesday to let you know the time and shit..." he said before we hung up

I texted Indigo that we are leaving to go to Miami late Friday evening. I told her we were going to surprise Mari. Of course she was happy and all for it cuz she was going to see her girlfriend. I went back into the front room, and Mari was still all in the TV.

"Everythings alright??" She asked looking at me

"Yeah..." I said wrapping some of the blanket around me

She turned and started back paying attention to the tv. She filled me in on what was going on in the movie. We watch the rest of it then she put on another movie. We started watching the beginning and by the end of the movie both of us was knocked the fuck out.
