The news of General Gale's death
spread like wildfire. A member of the imperial house was killed. And that was something worth the attention of the entire Sun empire. However the peculiarity of the case shook the palace.

A heated argument was taking place in the meeting hall.

"A member of the imperial palace, who had left for the Lana empire days ago returns as a corpse, there must be some kind of hidden conspiracy behind the general's death. Your majesty."

"The last time we heard of him he had already set foot in the land of Lana. There is no reason as to why he could have not been murdered by the hands of our empire's mortal enemy. Hmph! It seems the imperial family and the people of the empire still holds a grudge against us."

"That's right your majesty. Decades ago, when that incident happened they threatened to rage a war against us. Infact they did but lost miserably. We fear they must have been hiding behind the sheets, watching us, planning for another attack to recourse their decade long revenge."

These insignificant and spoilt pigs of the king took their every chance to spill dirt on the Lana empire, even forgetting that bringing up that incident was a taboo in the imperial palace of the sun empire.
As expected King Satt's expression turned ugly, distorting a bit.

"But, you know. We inspected the body and did not find any kind of external injury on the dead body. If looking simply at the dead, it looked as if the body was not harmed in any way." The one who spoke up was Eustin.

Hevel immediately followed. "Your majesty, it is as he had said. So we suspected it was poison. However there were no traces or evidences of being poisoned either. No external or internal injuries, the body was as normal as any human body."

"Hmph! Then they must have used some kind of underhanded tricks. The imperial family are known for their natures being like that of a snake. It does not surprise me they would retort to something like this."

"Minister Hax, i think you are forgetting something. The reason the Lana empire lost the war against us was because they lacked knowledge and skills even though they had some resource. What kind of snake is one, that doesn't even know how to yield, what underhanded tricks, i doubt if they even have the balls to plan a well laid attack against us." Eustin said as he smiled, slanting his eyes at the old ministers. His eyes shinning with an oppressive gaze.

This was the gaze that could numb people, making them shake in fear. The superiority of IQ in his blood, was as clear as a crystal clear water.

"I agree. Their thirst for revenge cannot be ignored but what they lack the most is knowledge and skills. Even if they have the resource they will unlike be able to pull something off such as this. There must be another person behind the imperial general's death. We should investigate more into the matter, flipping each side of the coin...." Looking over at the two empty seats beside the king Aroar looked up at the king, bowing his head slightly. "Where is the crown prince? And why do i not see Revard?"

Hearing him bringing up the question some of the ministers immediately expressed their displeasure.

"As the crown prince of our kingdom, the crown prince should be attending such an important meeting. His opinion matters a lot to the hall."

"Hmph! Let's not even talk about the first prince. That boy, he even refuses to open the gates for us no matter how much we knock on his door. As eccentric as he is, we cannot expect much from him."

Suddenly a chuckle was heard.

"I doubt you all have ears. Didn't you heard? Revard had gone to get Prince Zarad." Eustin mocked them. They clearly didn't like the first prince and yet they would stand outside his courtyard's gate hoping to curry some favour from him. These pigs, they were too greedy!

King Satt, like always sat on the throne with little interest on the issue. However as a king he still needed to do his minimal duties.

"Send a letter to the Lana empire. A representative should be send over by them. The kingdom of Razia owes an explaination as to why a member of our imperial palace was killed on their lands." King Satt finally gave out an order. "Also." He added. "Hevel, as the imperial advisor of my court i order you to travel to the capital of Lana, and deliver our message to them as our kingdom's representative."

"As the king wishes." Hevel immediately replied as he stood up and bowed to the king with respect.

The hall went silent for a while. All the ministers held a very pleased expression.
From the side lines Aroar stood up. The absence of his nephew was somehow making his eyebrows twitch. It couldn't be what he was thinking, was it?

Just as the king was about to announce the end of the meeting a guard walked into the meeting hall, his foot steps pacing fast. Wearing a strange look on his face he stooped before the king. Kneeling on his knees, he paid his respects to the king.

"Your majesty. A Special Envoy has arrived and the special envoy wishes an audience from the king."

"A special envoy?" King Satt sat up straight at the sudden news.

"Yes, your majesty. He says that he has come to visit the imperial family of the Sun empire from the far away lands of the Moon kingdom."

Moon kingdom? A special envoy not from Lana but the Moon kingdom?
