Amaya's P.O.V

Anticipation filled my body as we began to receive our diplomas.

"Ryan John Crist."

"Kelsey Sienna Hogan."

"Jay-Beom Min."

"Noah Scott Overton."

"Miley Danielle Peterson."

"Marcus Ethan Reed."

"Anila Olivia Rogers."

And finally,

"Amaya Elaine Walters."

"Congratulations to the River Brook High School's Graduating Class of 2024!"

Everyone's cap's flew in the air as the auditorium erupted in applause.

We eventually all found our parents who were together waiting for us in the lobby.

"I'm so proud of you sweetheart." My mom said as she handed me a beautiful bouquet of pink tulips.

Amira followed her with a hug.

"I love you so much Amaya." She whispered.

"Me too bud."

I looked to my left and saw the girls. I quickly rushed over to join their group hug.

"We did it!" Anila cheered gleefully.

"I'm going to miss you guys so much." Miley whispered.

"We have to call like every Saturday no matter what." Kelsey said holding back tears.

"Guys, we spent too long getting ready for us to cry all our makeup off." I joked.

"Aww, are the girls crying?" Ryan teased.

"Shut up!" We said in unison as we broke our group hug to join another one.

"Group hang out's every thanksgiving, winter, and summer break. No exceptions." Noah stated.

"Agreed." Jay said laughing.

"Group FaceTime calls every Sunday?" Marcus asked.

"Oh 100%." Kelsey answered.

"I guess that leaves the question." Anila said.

"What question?" Kelsey asked.

"Who gets Amaya's treehouse?" Jay asked.

"Oh, well I've thought of someone." I said smiling sheepishly.

"Who?" They all asked eagerly.

I turned around to face my little sister. My heart melted as her eyes lit up.

"My perfect, little sister." I said a proud smile blooming on my face.

"No way! No way no way no way!" She cheered.
