Amaya's P.O.V

I went back into the treehouse with my mind still foggy.

"Amaya?" Marcus asked.

I took a deep breath, "I need everyone to get out."
My voice shaky.

"What's wrong?" Anila asked.

I ran my hands through my hair, "Just get out please."

Tears were threatening to resurface again.

I wasn't even sure why I was kicking everyone out.

"Guys let's give her space." Kelsey said softly.

"The boys can go, we're staying." Miley said motioning to the girls.

The boy left promptly.

"You guys too. Please just go." I begged.

"Even me?" Anila asked.

"Yes." My voice cracked releasing a mountain of tears.

"Oh Amaya." Kelsey said giving me a hug.

"It's okay." She said rubbing gentle circles on my back.

"Amaya, I promise we're here for you." Miley said.

"Just go wait in your cars. I'll call when you guys can come back." Kelsey replied.

"Amaya are you being serious right now?" Anila asked angrily.

"You two leave. Now." Kelsey said sternly.

"Oh but you get to stay?" Anila asked obviously pissed off.

"Anila don't do that. Amaya clearly needs space right now." Miley reasoned.

Anila calmed down slightly.

"You heard what was being said down there, give her some time." Miley whispered.

I don't think she knew I heard her, but it became evident I did when I only started to cry more.

"Leave. Now." Kelsey said as she guided me to the couch.

"Shhh, it's okay Amaya." She assured me while playing with my hair.

"Do you want to tell me what happened?"

I gave her a quick explanation of everything that happened while choking on sobs.

The reality of what happened had finally sunk in, and all of a sudden a giant tub of ice cream seemed very necessary.

"Well, I don't think you'll toss him to the side." Miley said.

"Of course I would. Isn't that what I've been doing?"

"You didn't toss him to the side for like 2 and a half years Maya." Anila agreed.

"What does it even matter? He's not going to get with me anyways."
