When Kai said those words, Sasha already knew what it meant, but for some odd reason, her legs almost gave out. She didn't want Kai to worry, so she held her arm as if she was just trying to comfort her, when the real reason is that she's trying her hardest not to show that her world was somehow spinning.

"And I don't want to hurt my loved ones in any way. Kahit pa hindi sinasadya. Lalo pa sa mga biruang ganyan," Kai held Sasha when she reached for her.

Sasha looked at her.

"Ayoko ng nakaka-sakit ako ng kahit na sino, Sash. If I ever made you uncomfortable, I'm sorry. I'm sorry kung naparamdam ko sayo na I'm taking advantage of the friendship you're offering. Masyado kasi akong padalos-dalos. I mean—it just came out naturally with you kasi nga diba I told you na for some reason ang gaan na kaagad ng pakiramdam ko sayo nung una pa nating magkakilala. Masyado akong naging comfortable kaagad, I'm sorry," Kai continued to apologize.

Meanwhile, inside the restaurant, Kenny caught a glimpse of Kai and Sasha. She couldn't help but stare at their arms that were holding each other.

"'B, tingnan mo," she pointed at Kai and Sasha with her lips while her eyes were glued towards them.

Zoe looked towards the direction her wife was pointing.

"Ano sa tingin mo meron dyan sa dalawa?" Kenny had to ask.

Zoe tried to analyze the situation. She watched as Kai held Sasha's arm with one hand and Sasha's hand on the other. "I don't know. I can't tell. Knowing Kai, malambing na kasi talaga yan. She's touchy with everybody. That's natural na sa kanya, so I can't really tell."

Kenny nodded. "Yeah, and she's not the kind to cheat. Ikakasal pa man din sya. I can't tell either. It would be out of character kung i-ririsk ni Kai na saktan yung dalawang tao just to have a little bit of fun before they get married. Pero ewan ko eh, I just never saw Kai this happy around anyone. I think etong dalawa yung unang nagpa-confuse sa gay radar ko. Usually I can confidently sniff out if a couple is dating. These two? I'm not really sure."

Zoe agreed. She took a sip of her water. Then she looked at Kai and Sasha again. "Dating? I don't think so. Pero love? I think they're very fond of each other, and you're right, I've never seen Kai's eyes glow like that before. Mahal nila ang isa't-isa, there's no doubt about that. They care about each other a lot. Hindi ko lang talaga sure kung romantically or what. But I doubt it. Sabi mo nga ikakasal na si Kai. Di yan magloloko. Not now, not ever."

Outside, Sasha took a deep breath. "Kai, you worry too much. Wala kang dapat ipagsorry. Eto naman oh. Biruan lang naman yun eh. You didn't step onto any boundaries. Walang ka-issue issue yun para sakin. Promise."

Kai sighed. "Sorry talaga, Sash."

Sasha pulled Kai gently towards her and gave her an embrace. Kenny and Zoe watched from inside.

Kenny shook her head, "I can't tell talaga."

"Oist, that's not for us to tell, okay? Hayaan mong si Kai mag-sabi kung may kelangan man sya sabihin. Let them figure it out kung meron mang kelangang i-figure out. You better not say anything. Pa-pasok na sila," Zoe fidgeted on her seat.

When Kai and Sasha found their friends, they each gave them a smile.

"Sorry," Kai told Kenny and Zoe while she waited for Sasha to get seated so she could sit down with her on the booth.

"Everything okay?" Zoe asked.

Sasha gave them a gentle smile.

Kai nodded. "Everything's okay."

Kenny and Zoe nodded as if they understood not to pry. "Order na kayo ng drinks nyo, we ordered ours already," Zoe told them.

After the waiter got their orders down, Kenny smiled. Her arm was around her wife's shoulder.
