"Unis and EMTs are at the scene, but we can't get those gunshot victims out of there until we clear the shooters." Hondo told everyone as he loaded his guns

"Couple blocks out!"

"Any word on the captain and her niece?" Y/n looked over at Hondo worried for cortez

"Amy's good. But Cortez is the only one in that backyard helping those injured people." Hondo nodded her way as he grabbed onto the handle above him "There could be more people trapped inside the house with the shooters." Black Betty then haulted to a stop "What the hell was that, Luca?"

"I just hit somebody." He looked back at them before getting out of the truck them following

"What" street asked furrowing his brows, this was his first call back in their team and in black Betty and he hot someone

"You okay?" Luca bent down to the man behind bad hit

"All right, Luca, you know how this works. You stay, the truck stays. Rest of us, let's go." Hondo told like as they then began walking ""Deac, I got y/n and Chris. We'll take the two side. You guys got the one."

The three walked the side of the house stopping around the corner to see Cortez standing behind a tree, she held up two fingers to them shelving that there were two suspects

"Deac, you in position?" Hondo asked

"Ready to go"

"Going in the east side door, so watch your crossfire. Wait on my mark."

"Roger that."

With that they headed towards the building them going in the different door, hondo, Chris and y/n headed immediately to the kitchen spotting the two shooters "Metro SWAT!" Hondo's yell made one of them run "Drop your weapon!"

He jumped out of the window Cortez placing her foot on him to stop him from rolling, Hondo faced his gun towards the man before he stepped back "You got him, y/n?"

"Yep." She nodded facing her gun st the man as Hondo and Chris ran outside to cortex and the man "Down!" He got down and she cuffed him

"Upstairs clear." Deacon stated through t his radio"We're Code 4. All clear for paramedics to enter."

"What's the damage on the kid?" Hondo walked over to the rest of his team after he finished talking to Tiffany's sister

"Broken arm, broken collarbone, possibly some ribs." Tam answered "They took him to the hospital."

"Damn, Luca. I got to write you up a ticket?" Hondo asked with a chuckled

"Nah, he came out from behind the bushes. There's no way I could've seen him. I-I mean, I don't know how he didn't hear us coming." Luca shook his head "It's not like Black Betty's got a stealth mode."

"What's his story?" Hondo looked at them

"He told the EMTs he was already in the street running to his car when we took the corner too fast." Deacon crossed his arms with a chuckle, y/n admired the way deacon looked in his hat probably spacing out for too lone since everyone was dispersed by the time someone noticed her

"Y/n" Hondo snapped his fingers in front of her face snapping her out of it she rose her brows at him "we're headed back to  HQ"

"Oh" she smiled trying to play it off "okay"
