I packed some of my things as Vincent waited outside for me. Ziad didn't allow him to step foot inside, but I could still hear him lecturing Vincent as if he was two.
I looked at my large teddy bear at the edge of my bed.
That one night, I was going to burn it and throw it away, along with every gift Vincent's ever given me, but I hadn't, and I was glad about it. Should I bring it along?
As usual, Vincent was on top of it. My phone vibrated and I reached for it, seeing a text.
Daddy Bear:
Bring our stuffed friend with you.Well there was my answer.

I whined as I tugged my suitcase down the stairs with my large bear in my arms.
Ziad looked over at me. For some odd reason he had a rifle strapped along his back. What did he think Vincent was apart of?? The KKK??
"Sweetheart let me help y-"
"No, no. I've got it--" by that last step, I tripped, but Vincent already saw it coming five seconds before I fell, and rushed into the house to catch me.
I fell right into his arms.
Perfect timing.I hid my face behind the bear, "S-sorry."
Please stop saying that word before you make me forget the contract, he thought. "You're alright, sugar. Give it here."
I noticed he had changed as well, but he still looked far too stylish for doing something like horseback riding. He most likely just gathered a random outfit he had in his trunk.
