April was riding inside the forest, she'd been told that it was a short cut to her desired location so she was eager to enter.

The forest was quiet without a single sound from any creature. It seemed to even be frightening the poor horse. So April got down and walked with the horse to look for water.

She found a small pond and allows the horse to drink before feeding him carrots and other vegetables she carried in a sack just for him.

"Should we get going now Charlie?, I don't like the idea of sleeping in such a place." April said to her horse before stroking its face.
She walks a little with the horse besides her until she hears a loud howl.

The horse is startled and tries to pull back from that direction but April starts to pet him to reassure him that it's okay to continue moving forward.

There's a monstrous scream that follows after the howl, April pulls out her sword.

She ties Charlie to the tree and starts to walk on her own. As she continues to walk sounds of crying and screaming seem to continue increasingly getting louder with each step she took.

She finds herself at a cottage.
A scream startles her and she clenched on to her long sword.
She walks around the cottage just to see a horrific scene, she quickly retrieved and hides beside the cottage wall.

There in front of her was a coven of women all wearing black cloaks with a red stone in the middle. They were all surrounding a naked man.

Together they chanted something with twisted tongues.

April grips the side of the cottage too afraid to even take a breath.

The man was the one screaming, every time the women spoke, an ungodly scream with leave the man's mouth.
With a closer look April could see blood falling from his eyes.

She wants to turn around she really does. But her father once told her integrity was the only thing that separated any swordsman from becoming a warrior.
And a warrior was all the southern woman ever wanted to be.

So she charges at the one closest to her.
She swings her sword and slices a head off a shoulder. She shouts out a warrior cry before turning and swinging at another witch.

"This is the sun's land, no creature of the moon can stay here." She said and with quick moves, agility and flexibility, she kills 3.

The two that remained shot off from the ground before one kicks her right in the throat. April flew backwards and hit the cottage.
She gasps for air to past through her throbbing throat.

"YOUR PRECIOUS SUN IS POWERLESS." The witch yells before flying down to grab April by her leg and throwing her into a tree.

April feels bone break from her fall but she stumbles up, before grabbing a small knife that had been inside her furry leather boots.
She waits for the witch to attack again.

She waits patiently with the knife behind her, one of the witches comes flying towards her once again and she throws the knife in a millisecond hitting the witch right inside her eye.

The witch screeches But doesn't retrieve she comes to attack April again but with a blind spot now created April knew this battle was hers.
She punches the woman straight in her other eye.

Once the woman is down she stomps on her face and then puts her foot on the side of her face and shoves to the side in order to Snap her neck.

When April turns around the other witch was gone, leaving only the naked bleeding man.
