In the darkness of the night, I toss and turn,
Unable to sleep, my restless mind does churn.
Anxiety grips tight, depression's heavy weight,
Thoughts spiral out of control, sealing my fate.
I'm uncertain of tomorrow, what it may hold,
Afraid of the future, the stories untold.
Haunted by mistakes of the past, they linger near,
So many errors, so many problems, I fear.
Insanity whispers, sadness tears apart,
A broken heart, a shattered work of art.
But what's destined will unfold, I see,
Though I can't change the past, the future is free.
With each new dawn, a chance to renew,
To learn from the past, and mistakes undo.
For in the echoes of yesterday, I find my cue,
To build a future, bright and true.
