Chapter 72

Jungkook stopped in front of Soo-ah's house.

''Come.''- said Jungkook, about to get out of the car.

''Where are you going?''- asked Soo-ah.

''To say hello to Mr. and Mrs. Kang.''- said Jungkook looking back.

''Uh...baby you are tired too. Go home now. I will see you tomorrow.''- said Soo-ah hesitating.

''I don't want him to meet appa now. I have to fix everything before that.''- thought Soo-ah.

''No, that would be rude. I should go and at least say hello to them.''- said Jungkook insisting.

''That won't be necessary.''- said Soo-ah trying hard to stop him.

''Yes, it is. I'm their daughter's fiancé now.''- said Jungkook getting out of the car.

Soo-ah sighed.

Jungkook held her hand and walked to the door.

He rang the bell and Soo-ah kept praying that her appa won't be home.

Mrs. Kang opened the door.

''Hello, eomeoni.''- said Jungkook bowing down with a smile.

''Hello, son. How are you?''- said Mrs. Kang pulling him into an affectionate hug.

''I'm okay. How are you?''- asked Jungkook.

''I'm okay, dear. Come inside.''- said Mrs. Kang letting go of the hug.

''Yah eomma!''- Soo-ah shouted.

Jungkook and Mrs. Kang both looked at her confused.

''Uh....Is appa home?''- asked Soo-ah stuttering.

''No. Is that why you shouted?''- asked Mrs. Kang being annoyed.

''Uh...yeah.''- said Soo-ah.

''Where are your manners, honey? Your fiancé is right in front of you.''- said Mrs. Kang raising her voice.

''Oh.''- Soo-ah looking down being embarrassed.

Jungkook gave away a shy smile.

''Come, dear. Don't mind her.''- said Mrs. Kang looking at Jungkook.

''No, eomeoni that won't be necessary. I just came to drop Soo-ah home. Thought I would say hello to both of you before leaving.''- said Jungkook.

''Ahhh....such a good boy! Full of manners!''- said Mrs. Kang patting his head.

''Learn something from him.''- said Mrs. Kang looking back at Soo-ah.

Soo-ah just rolled her eyes.

Jungkook was trying hard not to laugh.

''Come have some drink with us. We can't let our soon-to-be son-in-law go away like this.''- said Mrs. Kang.

''Eomma!''- shouted Soo-ah.

Mrs. Kang and Jungkook looked at her being confused again.

''Uh....he needs to go now. He is very tired now. Right, honey?''- said Soo-ah winking at Jungkook.

Jungkook raised one of his eyebrows.

''What's going on?''- thought Jungkook confused.

''Uh...yeah eomeoni. I will drink with you some other day, okay? I have office tomorrow.''- said Jungkook politely.

''Oh yeah. You're very busy too.''- said Mrs. Kang nodding.

''Yeah, I will leave now. Have a good night. Say hello to abeoji from me.''- said Jungkook smiling at her.
