Chapter 9: Who am I?

Y/N POV

The sun was going down and after spending most of the afternoon getting to know Akko, Lotte and Sucy better, me and Akko were on our way to our extra lessons with Professor Ursula.

Akko: "I'm really happy you're gonna be with me Y/N! Like I said I would have gotten bored if I was there on my own!"

Y/N: "I-I'm g-glad th-that you think that."

She giggles and takes my hand.

Akko: "Talking to you today has really shown me that you are such a nice person to be around!"

My face was turning red at the fact she was holding my hand. I smiled at what she said.

Y/N: "Th-thanks."

Soon we arrived at the classroom. Akko still had a hold of my hand as she knocked on the door.

Ursula: "One second!"

The two of us stood there still hand in hand. I squeezed Akko's hand slightly and she looks at me.

Akko: "Yes?"

She has a huge grin on her face as I just glance down at our hands. She soon follows and her face turns pink and she looks back at me.

Akko: "A-am I making you uncomfortable."

I knew I was blushing as well but it didn't make me uncomfortable. I shake my head and smile at her.

Akko: "O-ok. Because I-I kinda like it."

She squeezes it tighter as my face goes even more red. I shy away and hear her giggle. The door then opens and Professor Ursula greets us.

Ursula: "Hello you two! I'm glad that you are both here on time!"

Akko: "Hi Professor! I'm excited to get started!"

The Professor looks at me and I smile at her.

Ursula: "Good to see you getting on Y/N!"

Y/N: "Y-yeah. S-slowly getting used to everything."

The two of them smile at me as the Professor lets us in. Akko leads me over to the desks and sits down. I sit next to her as Professor Ursula stands at the front of starts writing on the board.

Ursula: "Ok so we are just going to start off with something covered on lesson a couple of days ago."

She begins to right some letters on the board which at first didn't make any sense but soon I could understand what they said.

Akko: "Ugh! It's those runes from the lesson the other day that Diana translated! I don't have a clue of what they say!"

Y/N: "U-ummm I-I th-think I could translate them."

Akko and the Professor both look at me with surprised looks on their faces.

Akko: "Really?!"

I nod my head. I put on the glasses that the Professor gave me and started to read them.

Y/N: "B-bless the one who leaves the stone untouched. Woe betide the one who moves it."

The Professor looks amazed and Akko just has stars in her eyes.

Ursula: "W-wow. That was-."

Akko: "Amazing! You've managed to do that first try!"

Ursula: "H-how did you know that?"

Y/N: "I-I d-don't kn-know. I-I kinda just translated in my head."

There were now even more questions flying around my head. Professor Ursula takes some notes and continues.
