chapter 2: welcome aboard

Salter kicked the pirate off that was trying to board the ship.

Salter: this is getting annoying!

She held her sword high and finished off another pirate with a clean slash through his head.

A few moments ago. As we were on a ship. An enemy pirate ship appeared out of nowhere and were side by side to ours.

While we struggled to prevent the pirates that were attempting to seize our ship, a few of them managed to board, the rest followed and soon enough we were surrounded.

Y/n: They keep on coming! We just need to keep this ship from sinking in order to reach our destination!

I quickly dashed onto the upper deck

Y/n: protect this ship at all cost!!!

As I shout my command for morale boost. The battle kept on going.

I don't know how long it has been but when I opened my eyes I found myself lying down on a beach. As the cold water hit my face, I quickly rose up.

Y/n: cold!

Mash: senpai your awake!

I could feel her voice trembling in happiness.

Salter: how long are you gonna stay there master?

I turned around to see Jeanne and Salter standing before me

Salter: we have unfinished business.

Y/n: ah right, were you standing there to guard me? Thanks.

She gave a quick nod and expressed a small smile.

Salter: what you saying master? I'm just simply doing my job.

Jeanne: Don't mind her master, she's just happy that your safe and sound.

Salter turned red and quickly turned to glare at Jeanne.

Y/n: ah, your too kind Salter.

I looked around our surroundings

Y/n: Are we at our destination?

Mash: Yes senpai, we managed to defeat the enemies and make it to our location.

Y/n: I see, that's great to hear.

Mash: senpai, do you mind if I make a suggestion.

Y/n: sure go ahead.

Mash: I think we're kind of underhanded on servants.

Salter: are you saying that we're not enough?

Salters voice turned cold.

Mash: no no, thats not it. Its just that if we had more servants we would be able to have a better survivability.

Y/n: I see.. you might be right Mash.

Jeanne nodded her head in agreement.

Y/n: alright Mash. Do we have a catalyst ready?

Mash: yes, our facility team was able to rayshift and discover it.

Y/n: then lets do this.

After setting up all our preparations a bright light slowly formed and no more than few seconds later a servant with long and white hair appeared before me.

???: servant, Avenger. Summoned upon your req-

Realizing who I was, her facial expression changed

Jalter: Y-You!

Y/n: eh? Jalter?

I remembered her as she was the main enemy and main source of the problem from one of our singularities.

But that's all in the past now.

Jeanne: oh my.

Jalter turned around to see Jeanne just smiling and waving.

Jalter: What's my other self doing here?!

Jeanne closed up to me and Mash was quick to intervene, swiftly wedging herself between us, holding her arms in an attempt to shield me.

Mash: I won't let you hurt senpai!

She exclaimed in a defensive tone.

Y/n: relax, Mash. She was different back then. She changed.

Mash: I-I guess your right.

Embarrassed, she lowered her shield and stance.

Jalter sighed.

Jalter: yeah thats right. I remember battling against you and heard your words about saving the world.

She became a  red and turned around mumbling some words.

Her cheeks tinted as she looked away, mumbling to herself.

Jalter: I-It was pretty cool..

Salter: what are you, a tsundere?

Salter looked at her deadpan.

Jalter: huh?! What did you say?? You really wanna go?!

She huffed out, shooting a glare at salter.

Salter scoffed.

Salter: come at me.

We awkwardly observe as they shoot dagger's at one another.

Mash: n-now now.. calm down guys..

Mash waved her hands around in a panic, in an attempt to console them.

Y/n: aha...

As I was in an awkward situation all I could do was watch

I helplessly stood there staring, speechless. 

Jeanne: since our numbers grew this should be good news right?

Y/n: Yeah, I guess your right.

The two continued fighting while Mash was trying to stop them.

Jalter: ha! I could easily win to a flat chested person like you!

Salter: huh!?

Y/n: oh boy.
