What's something that old people tend to enjoy eating...

I was currently in my room after dinner, trying to brainstorm some ideas about what to make for Mrs. Abbott.

She had joined us for dinner, and even announced that she would be joining us for every meal afterwards. This made dinner incredibly awkward, because she didn't even allow us to leave until everybody at the table was finished eating. Worst of all, when I tried to hold a few hushed conversations with Kai and Kira, she immediately shut me up by saying, "The dinner table is no place for conversation!"

It seemed like Mrs. Abbott's only goal in life was to spread as much misery as possible. In fact, after dinner, she privately pulled aside Kira and I for eating too much, and said that we should be cutting our meal intakes in half in order to lose weight.

This left me fuming, but I couldn't exactly yell in her face, since that would only make things worse. Instead, I walked Kira back to her room and whispered, "Don't listen to a single thing that woman says."

Since she's such a health nut, she'll probably enjoy fruits more than added sugars. Should I just make some more jam and bread?

I'll think more about this over the next few days. I yawned and crawled into bed.

The next day, I woke up and completed my training with Commander Landon, before heading to breakfast. To the surprise of me and my siblings, Mrs. Abbott was also sitting at the table, waiting for us to arrive.

And unfortunately, she was glaring directly at me. When we all sat down, breakfast started, but before I could even lift up my fork, Mrs. Abbott spoke up.

"Why did you walk in with your brothers?" she asked.

I fixed my posture as I replied. "I train in the mornings with them, so we freshen up after training and walk to breakfast together."

She looked aghast at my answer.

"You've been training with these boys!?" she gasped in horror. "You!? Working up a sweat!?"

"Uhhh... Yes?" I replied, still staring at my food that I was desperate to start eating.

She turned her head in disgust and started eating, which my siblings and I took as a sign to begin as well.

Mrs. Abbott, however, didn't let this topic slip by during our etiquette lessons.

"A young lady like you shouldn't be surrounding herself with brutish knights! If you continue this kind of training you'll end up growing muscles like a man!"

As she lectured me, I could see my brothers slacking off on their training behind her.

Running laps and doing some basic exercises will get me toned at the most. I don't think I'll be getting shredded any time soon...

"From now on, you are forbidden from training!" she replied, shocking me out of my thoughts.

"What!?" I exclaimed.

"Yes," she nodded. "A noble lady like you should not be running around with those hooligans, getting dirt all over your shoes and clothes!"

Remain calm, remain calm.

"I'm afraid my training is a punishment given to me by Commander Landon himself. If I were to stop, he wouldn't be happy."
