Few days passed since that explosion , i had been visiting Theo daily , bringing him some of his favorite meals since i know that hospital food could be shitty sometimes

After that i drove to a pregnancy shop to buy some clothes that could fit me in the upcoming months , and also to buy some items

After shopping I headed back home , and no one was around except for Lillian who was sitting in the living room scrolling through her tablet and I didn't want to bother her so i just walked towards the bedroom

I entered and found Chase on the bed , surprisingly not busy ; " hey what are you doing?" I asked ; " waiting for you " he answered and i smiled at him ;" where's everyone ? I can't seem to find Melody either " i asked as i put my shopping bags on the bed

" Valerie suggested taking her to some playground, she was getting a little bored , what are those?" He said as he sat up and checked the shopping bags

" my future pregnancy clothes " I answered ;" ooh those are sexy " he teased as he grabbed one of the new underwear that were definitely not sexy but he was just teasing

" so I've been thinking " he started as he put back the panties inside the bag and held my hands
;" after we get married" he said and i raised my eyebrows , he was definitely thinking about this more than i am

" where do you wanna live ?" He asked and i startled; " you're leaving this up to me ?" I asked and he nodded ;" all i want is marrying you , you get to make the other choices " he stated and I couldn't help but to giggle with a blush

" okay so i guess ..." i spoke as i looked up ;" i think i wanna live here , despite living in London for seven years , i think i will always see this place as my home " i spoke and he grinned as he guided me to his lap

" then we live in my lake house " he stated
" oh right , the place you hadn't been to in years ? I think it's pretty dusty" i said and he laughed
;" then we'll clean it together" he brushed his nose against mine

" wait , what about my job , the clinic and Judy?" I pulled back my head with a look of discomfort on my face ;" I'll buy you a new clinic , you're not gonna stop being a doctor baby , I won't be that kind of a husband , plus i think it's sexy having a wife with a job " he said and i smiled

" then I guess I'll have to let Judy go , I'll write a recommendation letter to a hospital for her , and of course leave her with a good paycheck until she finds a new job " I explained and he hummed ;" well aren't you the kindest doctor ever?" He boasted again ;" but damn she was a good assistant " i added

After organizing the things that i bought , i was willing to take a shower , but got interrupted by a phone call from Cassy , whom I didn't talk to in couple of days , i missed her

" hey Cassy , what have you been up to?" I said as I answered the call ;" unfortunately , Cassy isn't available for the moment " A deep voice responded

" who is this ?" I asked , a but confused;" you and I hadn't had the chance to meet , did we , miss Pierce ? or should i say , Miss Perez?" The man said again

" Cassy if this is some joke , it's not funny" i said , trying to avoid thinking of the worst scenario
;" oh it's not a joke , miss Pierce , i have Cassy's phone , and i have Cassy too " He stated again and i began shivering

" Who are you?" I asked as my hand began trembling ;" didn't Chase mention me , I'm bit offended " he said , irritated ;" M-Matteo " i said and he chuckled ;" Tadaaa ! I knew you'd figure it out "
