The Mafia's Captive : Reunion

Days passed , and I had never been more happy , for the first time in my life , Melody's joy was overwhelming her , i knew that she always wanted a father , but i never thought it would come to this

And of course the bastard took advantage of Melody's innocence and used it to sleep on the same bed , since Melody always wanted to sleep with us

One morning i found myself wrapped around his arms , Melody wasn't around , my back against his chest , his hot breath hitting my skin . I quickly pushed him off and he fell to the ground

It was Friday , and Cassy had joined us for a barbecue party in my house's garden , it was a monthly occasion, but this time  Chase was with us , and he had been a wonderful help

I took care of preparing the meat while him and Cassy and Melody were preparing the garden and the grill

While i was grilling the meat on fire , Chase came up behind me and stretched out his hand to grab plates and cups

" hey would you mind taste this to see if it's ready or not , I don't wanna burn it " i said as i grabbed a piece of meat from the grill with a fork and brought it to his mouth

He stared at me as he took the bite and swallowed it ; " so?" I asked when he didn't say anything, instead he just gazed at me ;
" delicious" he said , looking at my lips and i hummed , taking my eyes off of him

After about fifteen minutes , our food was ready , and we all sat , eating and chatting , Melody sat on Chase's lap as he fed her

After we were done , Chase helped me clean off the place and the dishes , while Melody and Cassy were still in the garden , I noticed them whispering in each other's ears , and giggling

When Chase and i joined them Melody spoke ;
" mommy can i stay with aunt Cassy tonight ?" I looked at her confused , then at Cassy who was playing innocent , why this sudden request ? It had been months since the last time Melody spent the night with Cassy

Cassy's penthouse was much better than my house , to think about it , it wasn't that much of a difference , the only thing Cassy had and I didn't was the swimming pool , and Melody loved it

" Melody... why tonight?" I asked her as I sat in front of them ; " ooh nothing i just missed her" she told me as she wrapped her arms around Cassy . I narrowed my eyes at Cassy , they were planning for something , and since i knew my best friend and my daughter too well , i could only guess why would they ask me that

To leave me alone with Chase , maybe thinking something might happen ? Well i could prove them wrong

" fine , if that's what you want " I said and Melody grinned , while Cassy stared at me surprised
; " really ? Just like that ?" Cassy wondered and i nodded my head at her with a simple smile
; " yeah "

I glanced over at Chase from my shoulder , he was standing with his arms crossed , not understanding a single thing that had happened in that moment , until suddenly his mouth curved into a little smile as his eyes met mine
" i guess it's you and me tonight " he spoke and i rolled my eyes at him as i turned away

I packed Melody's clothes in a tiny bag before she put it on her back , she gave Chase a goodbye hug before holding Cassy's hand and getting ready to leave

" just like always , no candy before bed " i told Cassy and she hummed ; " well , try to get some candy for yourself tonight " Cassy teased me and i glared at her ; " Shut it" i warned her and she shrugged with a giggle ; " okay okay , let's go Melody , we're gonna have so much fun" ; " by mommy" Melody waved at me as she and Cassy headed to her car
