It was finally Saturday , the company's anniversary night or whatever that was , i was in the room dressing Melody her cute little red dress and Cassy was with me , helping me

" hurry up girls " I heard grandmother shouting from downstairs , we put our last touches before going down and head to the car

The ride didn't last long , we reached the hotel and entered the hall where the ceremony was going to be held

There weren't many people as I expected , but there were enough to make the hall look crowded a bit

Melody , Cassy and i took our seats in one of the table , as grandma stood with some people chatting with them , only for her to call me from far away , asking me to come and stand with her

Rolling my eyes with a sigh , i got up and left Melody with Cassy , and i told her to behave while i was gone

"This is my granddaughter , Eda , Eda meet mr. Martin and his wife , Adeline " Grandmother introduced me to a middle aged man and his young wife , telling me how he owned a franchise of restaurants all over the world

" by the way , are Ryan and uncle Jeremy  coming ?" I asked her out of curiosity when we were done talking to the Martins ;" oh no darling , they have some errands to take care of back in the states " she said

After dragging me with her all over the place introducing me to people she knew , there i was standing two steps apart from grandma as she talked to one of her acquaintances again

And meanwhile that , i felt a presence behind me , I didn't give it much attention until the voice of the person who was standing behind me , spoke in my ear ;"room 21 , second floor " the voice said and i turned

" excuse me ?" I frowned as i looked at him , he was a bald guy wearing a black suit and sunglasses , covering his eyes . At first I thought he was some kind of a pervert who thought he could do it with me in the room he just said

" the don's orders , he wants to see you , now , trust me " He whispered the final words before he walked away . I knew who he was talking about the second he said the word " don"

I stood in my place looking around with my eyes , hesitant , and nervous , what if it was a trap ? What if it wasn't him ? I turned around and looked over at grandma , she winked at me with a smile before she turned her face away

I walked towards Cassy and Melody's table and told them i would be right back . I entered the nearest elevator my eyes landed on and pressed the button to the second floor

My body was filled with anticipation ,excitement, and also shivers . I entered the floor and looked for room 21 , until I finally reached it , the door was slightly opened , i took a deep breath before I entered

It was dark , only the moonlight shining through the giant window , the room was big , with a bed in the middle

" Ch-Chase?" I hesitantly said , searching around in the dark , the next thing i knew was a hand wrapped around my neck and an arm around my waist ;" hello amor " he whispered to my ear with his devilish voice ; " miss me ?" He added

I pulled away from his grip and turned to face him , there he was standing in front of me with all of his glorious aura , wearing a suit , the shirt's first three buttons opened , revealing a bit of his tattooed chest

I stared at him carefully , my eyes wide open and so was my mouth , I didn't know wether to be happy that he was finally back and safe , or angry at him for staying gone all this time without a single call or a message
