James let out a soft growl making me take a step back, it looked like he was cold and shaking, but then maybe he wasn't cold. By the way his eyes were narrowed, he looked angry.

"She is not your mate," he spat out, "Alpha,"

Something clipped my finger and I looked down realizing I was holding Seamore in a tight grip. I relaxed my hand as Seamore walked up my arm. Enchanting creature.

"How do you know?" a more strained voice asked.

"Because she is Oscar's mate,"

"I thought you said she was-," James looked behind me and I looked over my shoulder seeing Oscar standing at the door way confused. They both watched each other before Oscar smiled walking up to me.

"Yep this is my mate Draven eh I mean Alpha Draven," he said as his heavy arm came around my shoulder. I frowned looking between them confused, what were they all talking about?

I looked up at the new figure towering above me and placed an arm on Seamore who was trying to go under my sleeve. He was scared, and so was I. I could feel something roll off the man, it was making me cower.

"Is he really your mate?"

"Oscar?" I asked softly, he closed his eyes and nodded before opening them, did they change colour? That was fascinating, how did he do that? Can I do that?

"Is he?" I winced.

"Don't yell at her!"

"Shut up pup,"

"Yes he is," I nodded, James did say it before and Oscar kept saying it, that means it's true right?

I heard a growl, a very animal like growl before I looked up, he was gone. James let out a big breathe and looked at me, his face softening, "Go inside and sleep, I have to go do something,"

"Come on mate," Oscar started pulling me.

"Oscar," James called his voice deep.

"Fine, sheesh," Oscar removed his hand and opened the door, "After you,"

I walked inside immediately greeted by the warmth as I rushed to sit by the fireplace placing Seamore in his bed, James had brought me a nice box layered with soft cloth.

"I don't get why you like that crab," Oscar grimaced as he knelt by the fireplace poking the shell. He said something angrily as Seamore clipped his finger and pulled back.

"Bad word, never say that," I nodded.

"What were you doing outside anyway?"

"I was swimming and getting Seamore a fish to eat," that reminded me that he had never finished dinner. I got up to get it when Oscar stood up telling me to sit back down.

"I'll get it,"

'It's by the water,"

He nodded and I smiled taking Seamore into my hand, his shell was soft, and I needed to remember to collect some sand to place in his box, make it seem like home. Maybe I could gather some rocks as well.

"Um Thelea?"

I looked up at Oscar who suddenly looked very pale staring at me.

"Yes?"

"What, Um, how, I," I saw the fish in his hand and smiled rushing over picking it up, I brought it back to the fireplace and put it in the box, ripping some of it apart and holding it out for Seamore.

"I think I'm going to be sick,"

I looked up at Oscar who now looked like seaweed, a green colour.
