Far-out for a Night

When I'm gone remember me as inspired,
He gave it his all with gifts he acquired,
I hope my written words will be a treasured inheritance,
For my family and friends please take the stance,

As protector and harbinger of my patents pending,
Intercept vibes from other side I'm sending,
Although I may be somewhere in between,
The soul universe and every woke place I've been,

The bright light inside my mind is carrying me off to sleep,
Outside cat fighting, coyotes howling, in my room not a peep,
Next, dream state takes flight and I am in the air,
Some lonely angels heavenly wings have carried me there,

I sing with a cherubs voice I've never previously heard,
While the sounds I make aloud contain not a word,
There's unknowns there chanting me upwards to great heights,
From my lofty position high above them I see glorious sights,

I'll surely remember sequence of events upon waking,
I'd hate to think this will be last sleep test I'm taking,
This altered reality is slick I might not claw my way back,
To a queen size Murphy bed on Maud Street's upper stack,

The longer I stay the farther family seems to get,
I'm happily in bliss but they just don't know it yet,
I've reached the place where spirits love to gather,
It's the other side of life and I'm a party crasher,

But just before I merge with phantasmic rank and file,
I find myself astonished admiring antique ceiling tile,
Its lucky for me I wasn't ready to leave here for good,
It was a visionary venue to visit I hope I wasn't misunderstood.
