“Hoy, bagsak ka na naman! Anong idadahilan mo niyan sa parents mo?” my friend said as he sat down in front of me.

I said and continue eating.

It's lunch break, so nandito kami ngayon sa cafeteria with my friends. I'm a first-year senior in high school, and yes, I am still a minor.

“Hey, Lee, let's go. The bell will ring any minute now.” Some students are now leaving because the next class will start soon.

“Don’t tell me, you're going to skip our class again?”

“Hay nako Caleb, mukha bang mababawal mo ‘yan?” Miles said.

“Miles is right. Just go, okay? Kaya ko na ang sarili ko.” I said as I looked at Caleb. He just sighed and stood up, picking up his bag.

“Okay, I'll just make excuses to our teacher.”

I have no idea where I am heading.

“Oh, you're here. Don't you have a class to attend?” Ate Milan said.

“Sus, cutting ka na naman Jade!” It's kuya David.

“I’m bored e, can I stay here?” nag pout pa ako para makuha ang loob nila, knowing Ate Milan, ayaw na ayaw niya akong nakikitang mag cutting.

“Please? Pumasa naman ako this semester and wala na rin kaming gagawin.” I lied.

I smiled at Ate Milan because she was looking at me suspiciously.

“Okay fine,”

I looked at Kuya David, who's now looking at me while smirking. I just winked at him and proceeded to my favorite spot in here—the drums.

“Jade, you know how to play piano, right?” Ate Milan asked. I stopped playing and glanced at her.

“Yes, why?”

“Can you help me with this one? I badly want to learn how to play the piano.”

“Treat me after our session, ‘kay?” I laughed because of how she rolled her eyes.

Ate Milan is a fast learner kaya hindi ako nahirapan turuan siya.

I joked.

“Huwag mo nga akong bolahin.” She said.

“Stop being humble and treat me.”

“Later, you still have classes to attend.” I rolled my eyes and surrendered myself.

The class was still on-going when I arrived. Miles felt my presence and whispered something to Caleb.
