We decided to see Spider-man: no way home, which was the latest marvel movie that was out at the cinema. After the movie, we went to a nearby restaurant for lunch.

"Hope you liked the movie," Alex asked we as chatted briefly after lunch

"Yeah, surprisingly. I anticipated getting bored with it, but I enjoyed every bit of the movie. Although I wasn't happy with the huge sacrifice he had to make. I mean, being forgotten by the entire universe, especially by the people he loved the most? And even losing his aunt in the process, that's tragic, I said vehemently.

"Yeah, but with great power comes great responsibility. His identity was exposed in the ending of the previous spider-man, which did not only affect him but also his friends. So he had to do something about it." He replied

"However, I believe the whole situation would not have become more complicated if Peter Parker hadn't ruined the sorcerer's spell and brought villains from other worlds. He could have simply reintroduced himself to his friends and aunt after the spell was cast." I said

"Yes, I agree but it wouldn't be that easy you saw how it ended right? Plus I'm sure if that hadn't happened then the whole plot of the movie will be non-existent"

"Well, that's true" I shrugged my shoulders.

"Now you see why you should start watching marvel movies," He said smiling

"Ah, see you trying to convince me, but I'll just stick to my K drama. Marvel movies are a lot and I'm not ready to go through that process.

"That reminds me, you said you would watch a Korean movie with me if I agreed to see this one with you" I added.

"Ehrmm" he murmured scratching his head.

"Wow, you are not being serious right now" I replied scowling

"Hey hey I'm joking,", he said laughing.

"You better be"

"So how about you come over to my place tomorrow so we can watch it together?"

"Uhmm, tomorrow my friends are coming over to study at my house. Mid-semester test, you know?

"Oh, I see. I wish I could be like you."

"Why did you say that," I inquired.

"You are beautiful and smart,", he answered, giving me a long intense look in the eyes

"Says the first-class Elect elect student. Bruhh that is mind-blowing. I replied in an effort to switch the subject.

And yes, you guessed right. That's one of the most endearing things I find about him, and you can trust me to have imagined how smart our future kids would be given two smart parents. Plus, he exudes a nice aura, knows how to maintain a conversation, and tells jokes that make me laugh a lot. I have everything I could possibly want in a guy, if not more.

Maybe Sharon and Rachel do deserve some credit for pushing me out there but I'll never admit it to their face to avoid that cliche line "I told you so"

"You are being overly dramatic" He responded cracking up in laughter
"Have you forgotten you are also a first-class student?

"Are you trying to compare a microbiology first-class to an Electrical Electronics engineering first class? No naw, oh I see what you are trying to do but trust me if I were you, my shoulder pads would be held  high."

"Wow, that's interesting to hear, but It's not a big deal, I believe being a first-class student regardless of your course is impressive enough"

"Well, I agree with you, but I hope I can keep up till my final year like you given the fact that it gets hard each year"
