Chapter 18-

Jordans POV

Honestly I knew what she meant. I always felt safer when I was around her.

Well not exactly safe, just more comfortable.

Like the two of us could go against Eddy together.

After Hannah finished washing, I walked her back to the room.

"Thank you" Hannah blurted out while putting her clothes on.

"For?" I questioned.

"Just for being there." She said limping over to me reaching out for a hug.

After hugging for what felt like forever, she pulled away.

There was an awkward silence for a few seconds.

From a blink of the eye, I seen Hannah lean in the kiss me.

"Woah woah woah." I said, stopping her from leaning all the way in.

"Im sorry If I lead you on or anything but I'm only into men." I followed up trying not to make her feel bad.

"Yeah, I know. Im sorry, I don't  know what was going through my head at that moment." Hannah slightly chuckled while face palming her head.

"Are-" We both started speaking at the same time.

Hannah giggled and signaled for me to continue.

"Are we good? I don't want anything to be weird between us.

"Oh yeah, no doubt. I apologize for even making that situation." Hannah said biting her nails.

I could tell she was embarrassed. I honestly felt bad but Hannah is such a good friend to me, I didn't want anything to interfere with that.

"Hug it out, again?" I'd suggested.

Hannah cracked smile before holding out her hands and pulling me in.

We pulled away when we heard the door open.

It was Eddy.

"Get y'all asses over here!" He shouted.

He then grabbed us by our necks and made us follow him into the basement.

When we arrived, I'd seem 2
Strong men.

"Lock them up boys." Eddy ordered.

We started to squeal when they started playing the chains on our ankles and wrist.

One of the men pushed me, which caused my burn to make contact with the dusty floor.

"Ow!" I cried out.

"Oh please, that's not the worst will happen." Eddy let out one of those villain laughs.

Eddy and his two men began walking up the stair slamming the door after them.

I heard some keys giggle which let me know they were locking the door.

I looked across and saw Hannah sweating like crazy.

"Th- the chain it tight on my ankle." She huffed and puffed the words out.

"My wrists are really tight." I said.

"So, we just get locked up and left to die?" I questioned.

"That seems like the plan." Hannah said breathing fast.

Hours went by, still no food trays or anything.

"I wonder where Elijah is with our dinner." Hannah said.

I heard her stomach grumble.

I wasn't that hungry but I knew I would be soon.

"I wonder if my family is still looking for me." I said dropping my head.
