Hi guys happy Sunday! how's school going? Another short update sorry
:( but I'll update on the next  holiday that most public schools have off. Till then enjoy ❤️

"Kay you need to get out of the house. You can't be cooped up in here all weekend" Porter said to me standing by my bed frame.

"No! Why should I? Leo is right, I'm a waste of space why am even here?"
I groaned from underneath the covers.

I heard him sigh deeply, suddenly the covers were ripped from off me meeting the ground.
A chill from the air sent a shiver up my spine. The shorts and tank top I wore didn't help the situation.

"Get up!" He pulling me by my shoulders, tugging my arms.

"NO! Leave me alone!" I cried making my body go limp.

"Fine stay there then. It's not good to wallow in your own self pity, it is not healthy Kendyl"

I groaned again, plopping the pillow over my head.

"Eat breakfast at least. Mom spent a lot of time making your favorite..."
His voice trailed off and the smell of bacon filled my nostrils.

I sniffed lifting the pillow off my head then back down.

"I'm not hungry" I lied. I was starving.

"Really? Let's see what does your stomach say?"

Grrrrr. It growled.

Stomach you traitor.

"Not hungry huh?"

"FINE! I'LL EAT THE STUPID BREAKFAST" I hissed throwing my pillow to the side taking the tray from him.

"Oh god this looks so good!" I gawked at the mountain of pancakes, eggs, bacon and hash browns on my plate after Porter removed the metal platter cover.

He smirked knowingly as I swallowed down my food.

"Shut up. You know nothing" I said through a mouthful

He held up his hands playfully backing out the door.

"I say nothing. I have to go but I'll call you later."

"Where are you going?"

"Work"

"You got a job!?" I choked on my bacon

"Kay I'm eighteen" he deadpan

"Yeah I know but when did this happen?"

"Woooowww I'm surprised"

He cockily popped his collar brushing off his shoulders

"Why? Surprised that I can hold down a job for that long?"

"No. Just astonished that someone would actually hire you" I grinned triumphantly at his grim expression
