Anna's POV

I felt like I have the best sleep of my life. I snuggled closer to my pillow, to feel the warmth and comfort it is providing me. I hummed feeling pleasant. Two strong warm hands press me close to the pillow more. I put my hands on the pillow, but it's hard. How can my pillow be hard and at the same time warm and comfort.

I opened my eyes and looked only to meet those irresistible green eyes. I am lost in those for a few minutes, but I quickly pulled away. I sat up and got out of the bed, wanting to stay away from him.

"Get ready. We will leave in an hour", he said and went out of the room, to give me privacy.

I went to the bathroom and got ready. I wore a dark blue jeans and a white tank top with a black shrug. Right now, I am not in a mood of fashion sense. I just combed my hair and tied it into a ponytail and went down without any make up.

"Hey mom", I said and hugged her.

"Hi! Come on eat breakfast", she said as she sat in one of the chairs of dining table. I smiled and was about to go and sit when Bane came kissed my cheek, before sitting beside me. My brother looked like he was about to kill Bane while my mother wiggled her eyebrows while smiling. I frowned. Wasn't she supposed to feel bad that I got such a monster as a mate?

Soon after we ate. I went to my room and was about to pack my clothes, but Bane came in.

"No need to pack your clothes. Come on", he said as he took my hand and started dragging me out.

"What? Then what am I going to wear?".

"There are clothes there for you already. So you don't need to wear these", he said simply while looking at me and brought me down.

"But I want my clothes t-".

"I said you don't need these and that's end of discussion", he said in a strictly manner. I huffed and left it, not wanting to make him more angry.

My mom and brother stood there for me, to give me send off. I hugged my brother tightly.

"Take care and call me if you want anything. Okay? Anything", he said and kissed my fore head. I heard a growl from behind, but ignored it. Ahh... it's just my brother!

"I will miss you".

"Me too", he said while leaving me.

I went to hug mom, but she took my hand and pulled me to a room with her. She shut the door and I gave her a confused look. She went to her closet and brought me a chain with a pendent of new moon. It's so beautiful.

"This is for you", she said putting it in my hand.

"What?".

"You father and I wanted to give it to you", she said kissing my forehead.

"It's beautiful mom".

"I know. Just like you. Listen Anna. I want to tell you something. I know, Bane is a cold person or like everyone describes him, a beast. But he is still your mate. If he is really a beast, he wouldn't have made a condition to take you with him. He can easily kill everyone of our pack and take you with him, with or without your permission.

But he didn't do that. He is not born like that. Everyone has their own reasons to become what they are. And I am sure he have one. I can see the love in his eyes for you, even though he shows less emotions. Trust me. He loves you. It's crystal clear".

"But mom-".

"Just give him one chance, okay? That's all he needs. He looks like, he is in need of love, affection and support". I nodded my head.

"Okay". Maybe she is right. I should give him a chance. He is my mate after all.

"Oh and do you know he helped me in making the breakfast today?", she said smiling. My eyes widened.

"Really?".

''Really! And he even called me mother".

I am surprised. I didn't know he is like that. Of course I don't know him.

"He has a heart baby girl. You just need to mend it. Help him", she said and kissed my fore head.

"I will miss you so much mom", I said hugging her with tears in my eyes.

"I will miss you too. I was scared you will not be safe with him, but now... I know you will not be more safe anywhere, than being near him", she said while pulling away. I nodded my head while wiping my tears. I wore the chain my mother gave me.

We both came out of the room and saw Bane and Mike are growling while snapping teeth at each other and almost at the wedge of changing into their wolves.

"Stop! What is happening?", I asked in shock.

They both stopped and looked at me.

"Please". I don't even want to know the reason, cause I know it would be something stupid. Cause, it's my over protective brother and my possessive mate that's fighting, the reason will surely be me.

They both stopped. I huffed and shook my head at them.

My mom stood beside my brother.

"Come on. It's getting late", Bane said taking my hand and pulled me with him. I took one last look at my family and went with him. Bane just nodded my head at my mother and glared at my brother. My brother did the same.

I just rolled my eyes at them.

"Jake start the car", Bane said. I saw a man, almost with same height of Bane nod his head and sit in the driver's seat and start the car.

"Who is Jake?", I asked slowly.

"My beta", he said looking at me, while taking my hand in his.

I just nodded my head.

"Are the others coming?", Bane asked Jake.

"Yes Alpha. They are just behind us", Jake said and Bane gave a stiff nod. I looked behind, from the glass of the car and saw many black cars coming with us. I sat back and... sat... sat... sat. That's all I did. No talking. Only silence.

I felt my eyelids getting heavy and fell asleep soon. My head is falling on both sides to control the sleep, but it doesn't stop. After some time I felt myself being lifted and put me in someone's lap. I know it's Bane, but I am too conscious to care. I snuggled close wanting comfort and out my head in the crook of his neck, breathing his scent and fell asleep.

"Sleep tight my sweet", I heard with a kiss on my forehead and fell asleep.
