This is what I am feeling right now.

Consent is important, and these third party sites fail to understand this.

While teenfic is a mirror site and shows the exact same number of views and votes on my story on their profile as it is on Wattpad, Novelhd is blatantly stealing my story, word to word, line to line, free for people to copy shamelessly.

I wonder,

Are we authors spending so much time and efforts to get this?

Do we deserve our stories to be made available on a third site, without considering the countless hours we spent in writing a single update?

The past one month has been tough for me because of innumerable reasons, professional to personal, relationships to friendships, my confidence to positivity, everything is messed up right now.

I have been so mentally tired lately, introspecting, convincing, carrying positivity amidst the plethora of things happening in my life. I have been so tired assuring myself, that it's just a phase, and everything is going to be alright.

Each day, I have been forcing myself to write for you people despite the issues I am surrounded with, but never in my wildest dreams I thought, I would have to come across such an instance of sheer plagiarism of my story.

After coming across my work on a third platform, I've lost the slightest motivation I had for writing.

Even if I unpublish my story from this platform, Love Unrushed is still going to be available on novelhd, and I won't be able to do anything about it!

Hence, I don't know that if unpublishing my story is really going to be of any use or not!

I was wrong to assume that despite all the difficulties I am going through, wattpad is my happy place, but I was blindly mistaken. Wattpad fails to respect and protect the rights of any author!

And, it's not only me, but a number of different authors are going through the same thing, with their novels being made available on a third site for free, without their permission, without their consent!

It was only when I read the announcement made by authornarmada, I decided to look for my story too on these sites.

I have been silently praying while typing Love Unrushed! in the search bar, in a hope that I do not come across my story on any other platform than wattpad.

But, I was so so mistaken to have assumed this.

We cannot complaint, we cannot report, we cannot delete, we cannot do anything.

Honestly, I am shaking each second I see my story on these sites, and I guess that day is not far when this story would be made available on every other site illegally, with people shamefully claiming my story as theirs.

I am too overwhelmed to decipher what I should do.

I am blank, I am speechless, I am disappointed and I feel lost.
