Chapter 6

~Here we go again~

Lauren's POV

The moment they opened the door I could smell mold.
It was an old looking room that was giant like a couple of rooms colided.

There was mold and you could see how abandoned this place was.

The furniture was ripped,like someone sliced it with a knife.
The tables were in pieces all over the room floor.
And most of the windows were broken and fixed with duck tape.

"What is this?" I asked scared.

"A safe place." one of the guys said.

I looked over at Noen with a questioning,worried look and he just nodded and smiled softly.

"Why did you bring us here?" What the hell is happening?" I said "A safe place would be my house. Not this old thing."

"It's much safer than the place you were in before. We know what you've been dealing with. You will soon be with your family,don't worry about that." one guy said.

"And" the other added "at least you don't have to be tied up here."

They walked us to the back part of the house.

There was a spot that was cleaned up and there were chairs and a table that looked pretty new. On the table there were empty,clean cups and plates.

"You guys can stay here and we need to get something done." the guys said.

Noen and I sat down as they walked away.

"Spill it. What's happening?" I told Noen not questioning this time.

"I told you,I don't know." he said with a calm expression on his face as if nothing's happening.

"You know something. I can see it in your eyes."

"I do not."

"Fine. If you wanna be like that."

The next hour passed in silence.

Noen and I haven't spoken at all.
He didn't even look at me.

It was already getting dark outside and those guys still aren't back.

Hours have passed by now and I've lost patience.

I stood up and started walking to the door.

Moments after Noen stood up,too and started following me.
"What fo you think you're doing,Lauren?" he asked.

"I'm going home." I said and tried to open the door.

It's locked goddamn it.
So I started kicking and banging on it.

Tears started to well up in my eyes and soon started falling down my cheeks.

"Oh God not this again." I could hear Noen whisper to himself.
"Lauren,stop."

I didn't.
I tried my best with tears streaming down my face.
I want to go to my parents.

He got closer to me and picked me up so he could move me away frok the door.

As soon as he released me I fell onto the floor,sobbing.

"Hey" he said while lifting my head up with his hand "it's gonna be okay."

"It's not." I said.

He then got down on the floor and hugged me.

"I want to go home."

"Soon." he said.

God,why is this happening?
I want to go home.
I want to see my parents and my friends.

I want my life back.
