Chapter Thirty-nine:

Brian's POV:

I woke up from my nap by a loud sound of vibrating.

"can you turn it off, please? I'm trying to nap!" I said to Zach.

"I'm sorry. My mom keeps calling me. As if I'm going to answer her calls" he said.

"just put it on sleep mode or something" I sighed.

"there. I blocked her number. Now she can't call me at all" he said.

"good" I replied.

I tried to drift back to sleep,

I know I napped twice already today, but this week got me so tired. 

Thank god it's the weekend. 

Thank god I don't have school tomorrow. I don't want to leave this bed ever.

I let out another yawn.

"did you nap at all?" I asked Zach.

"Nah, I watched you sleep instead. You're cute" he chuckled.

"I'm gonna take it as a compliment and not as the creepiest thing someone ever told me," I said.

"I mean it's kinda creepy but I'm not a psychopath, I swear," Zach said.

"I know you're not. I love you" I chuckled and started to kiss him.

He pushed me off of him.

"what?" I asked.

"your parents are downstairs"

"so?"

"so? I don't want them to walk in on us kissing" Zach said.

I sighed.

"they wouldn't mind... I already told you they walked in on me doing even worse..."

He just glared at me.

"Oh come on, so we can't kiss in public, and now we can't even kiss indoors? Why are you gotta be so hard?" I whined.

Before I could get any answer from Zach my phone started buzzing.

The screen showed an unknown number.

"Hello?" I answered the call.
