𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐀'𝐒 knee bounced anxiously as she sat uncomfortably in the backseat of the mercedes. her hand came up to her right wrist, her nails scraping over her sensitive skin.
she took a few deep breath to tranquillise her irrational thoughts, her eyes shifting to the window—taking in all the brazilian scenery.
the journey to the hotel was quiet, neither the driver nor claudia speaking except from her polite "thank you" once they had arrived—the girls nerves evident to anyone who could see her.
climbing out of the car, she gave the driver a small smile, picking up her bags and scrambling to the door. pulling her phone out of her pocket she shot a quick message to max to tell him that she was at the hotel dropping her stuff off, and would be leaving soon to get to the paddock.
after checking in as fast as she could, she made her way back to the car—her heart rate growing rapid as the reality of her plans sunk in. she was so nervous, yet so excited.

the track was quiet when she arrived, she assumed people were busy filming content, judging from the schedule of the weekend lando had sent her days ago; media day was full on, and the drivers didn't really have time to wander around the paddock freely—nor did the rest of the team employees who would be doing their respective jobs.
