Oh, what a dreary night!
The castle can crumble only when you let them in,
Join hands, smile and they crave in to commit the sin.
You fight for your worth,
They fight for their word…
Against yours.
Oh, what a dreary night!
The ship can only sink when they bring in their weight,
Lies, deceit, scorn and greed, all packed up in a single crate.
You live with an integrity,
They strive for cruelty…
Against you.
Oh, what a dreary night!
Your world can only close in when they burn all the doors,
Oil and grease smeared all across your floors.
You give all your best,
But they destroy the nest…
That belongs to you.
There's no happy ending in disguise,
You just got to be highly wise.
