MASON was the first to wake up out of the two. After their pancake making session at 12am the pair fell asleep shortly after. Only getting through the first ten minutes of the movie before they were fast asleep.
Mason looked down to see Saylah sleeping peacefully on his chest. Her hair sprawled all over it. He could smell her hair, it smelt like cherries.
He watched her for a few moments, a small smile on his lips. She looked peaceful so he didn't want to interrupt her. He left her to sleep on his chest, slowly reaching to his bedside table to grab his phone on charge. Deciding to scroll through tik tok while she slept.
He never did this. In fact waking up to see one of his flings laying on him would have him running for the hills. But he sort of had a soft spot for Saylah.
She stirred awake after half an hour. Rubbing her eyes. When she realised she was laying on mason she shot up, moving away a little.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to fall asleep on you." She yawned.
"It's all good." He dismissed.
"Good sleep?" He asked
"Yeah! Those pancakes did the trick." She laughed sliding out of the bed.
"I'm gonna get going. I've got a business meeting in a few hours." She told looking for her clothes. They had been neatly folded and placed on Masons chair. His doing.
"I can give you a lift home?" He offered. Surprised at himself for being so nice recently. He usually didn't care how the girls he slept with got home. But again, Saylah was different.
"No you don't have to, I can get an Uber." She shrugged.
"No let me drop you." He was adamant. A part of him felt like it was a nice thing to do.
"Okay." She nodded with a grateful smile.
"Get dressed and then meet me downstairs." He winked leaving the room for Saylah to put her clothes back on from last night.
