CHAPTER 4 -THE BLIND DATE

All the way to the above mentioned destination ,she did not imagine that it would take this long to finally reach there.After all the way from the office to the store ad again from the office to the yet to reach destination ,the whole day was a bit hectic for Evelyn. Initially all the blind dates till now were planned in the grand five star hotel about ten blocks away from their office .But today it was going to be a very different destination as it was taking about half an hour to reach there. ''I WONDER WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT TODAY'S LIND DATE THAT EVEN THE VENUE WAS DIFFERENT FROM BEFORE''.All the way she kept listening to a song in her earphones and softly hummed to the lyrics with her hair moving lightly from the air of the car window of her side .

Finally after another three to four minutes the cab stopped infront of a what looked like a party venue with all those gorgeous men and women in those pricey and beautiful coats and dresses walking athrm in arm with smile on their faces that looked like they were in love with their partners .Suddenly with that view in front of her Evelyn somewhat felt out of the place as she didn't knew that she had to dress so well instead here she was dressed in a poor manner and with minimal make upon her face.She somewhat continued to proceed towards the gate of the venue with a bit of nervousness because yes she couldn't control it when she was in a crwd or on a stage. She entered through what lookd like an entry and scanned through the mass of couples kissing each other or dancing together in the hopelessly slow romantic music.the whole ball room was decorated with red rose and dazzling secors that made the place look like the room of a palace .The whole venue was filled with the scent of colognes and scents of the people out there. This somewhat made Evelyn to gag at the overpowering mixture of the colognes.After scanning through the crowd in order to find her bosss ,finally her eyes landed on a tall and masculine person who was sitting with a pretty girl ,smiling at her and holding her hand while they stared at each others eyes intently as if they were completely in love.Suddenly Issac's eyes landed on Evelyn for a brief moment but he looked away as if she was a dirt .This attitude made her feel somewhat mad but she somewhat controlled a frown from coming to her face. Evelyn knew that it was just Issac''s good looks that made every girl stare at him with those longing eyes of theirs as if they found their prince charming and were about to start their fairytale.But Evelyn was sure that it was just one of his other traps to flirt with a girl, use her and then boom that would be the end of the story . Evelyn decided that she needed to give time to them and also didn't want to be a third wheel,so she took a seat at the back ,out of all those couples that reeked of love and away from all these too good to be true drama scenes .She couldn't figure out that if she didn't had any role to play in his blind date then why did he made her hurry for no reason,to wave her off like a dirt .She decided that she needed a music break to relax her mind and to even draw her mind away from this thoughts.She browsed through her playlist and tapped on the heather song that she listened half on the way to this venue.It continued from the last part,

THE LYRICS CONTINUED AND WHILE LISTENING TO THE SONG. HER EYES UNKNOWINGLY ROAMED OVER TO THE TABLE WHERE HER BOSS WAS SITTING WITH HIS PRETTY DATE,LOOKING AT HER INTENTLY,SEEING THAT BOTH OF THEM LEANED FORWARD AND KISSED EACH OTHER PASSIONATELY .After watching this she somewhat felt a strange tug at her chest .She waved this off thinking that she might be hungry ,so she went to the refreshment section to have some food .
