I'd like to write something witty and compelling here. I could tell you about my creative process, or boast that I've written 3.5 novels and never been published. I could explain how my Bachelor's degree in English helped me write better while slowly killing my inspiration, or how I re-discovered my love for reading once I ditched academic elitism in favor of indulgent, whimsically dark young adult fantasy. I could talk your ear off about my favorites--too many to number--and describe in great detail how Netflix is wonderful at casting but ruins perfectly good stories. I could wax poetic about The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (and my theories about the author's death) and writersplain the importance of active voice and limiting he/she/they "saids" in your writing. I could shamelessly self-promote myself as a freelance editor and writer. I could even talk about where I'm from and who I am as a person, in the real world. But I'm not sure any of that would interest you, so in lieu of that, I'll simply say "welcome to my scattered, indulgently written stories. I hope you read a few lines (or more!) and find some inspiration in my words."
