We all need to take a minute to recognize siblings of a miscarriage. 
          
          I’m really missing my baby brother or sister tonight. 
          
          I never met them, except through an ultrasound when I was younger. They would have been named Lewis, after CS Lewis, or Lucy, after Lucy in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. They would be about 5 years old now, which is crazy to think about.. My baby sibling saw Jesus’s face before I did. 
          
          I blocked out the memories of the pregnancy because it hurt, and now I wish I still had those memories because it hurts even more that I don’t remember. I’m the oldest in my family, and I find myself constantly thinking about them, thinking What would it be like if this hadn’t happened? 
          
          I can’t talk about it or I’ll cry. Not many things make me cry. 
          
          When my best friend’s mom had a baby a couple of years ago I had to bury feelings of bitterness. 
          
          Please pray for those who have siblings in heaven, especially those who are the oldests. The hurt never goes away.
