Hi guys :)

I’m not sure how many of you are still on this app and if this message would even reach anyone, but something this week told me to take a look at my old profile just to see what was going on with my old work.

          	And boy am I SHOCKED.

I honestly can’t believe people are still reading stuff I put out in my teens/early twenties. I can’t believe some of you returned to those books years later. I’ve read the comments and the private messages and I’m beyond grateful for your kind words and continued support.

Honestly, studying creative writing in university was a big mistake. Although I grew tremendously as a writer, I lost my love for the craft. After graduating, it got hard writing for pleasure anymore. It felt pointless if it wasn’t for a grade. I haven’t written a word since 2020. I’ve even been too scared to revisit projects I’ve left behind.

But coming on here this week and seeing how many people still care about what I wrote years later truly warmed my heart. Really. It made me less scared, a little more confident to maybe start again.

As it’s been almost a decade since I wrote Disequilibrium, I was thinking about possibly rewriting it. Filling in the holes and making it better than what it is now. I’m thinking about publishing a better, more refined version of a book I hold dear.

I don’t know. If anyone is reading this, let me know what you think.

Omg whatever you do don’t ever delete Disequilibrium. I’ve read a lot of books around here and I mean A LOT. Nothing compared to how your book kept me on edge. I’ve read it two times. I would love to see what you can create for the future as a mature writer. Please do start writing again. You have a way with words that would leave this world an emptier place without their presence. Not going to lie, I’m always scared when an author announces the intent to re-write a book we love. I mean hey, we love it, we’re crazy about it so yah, the logical thing for an author is to change it . But I am a creative myself, I understand how our perception changes over time and how we strive to present ourselves to the world with our best works. I understand if an earlier work seems faulty to your mature eyes and in the end it is your book and you can do as you please with it. Perhaps leave this one as a draft then? Many writers do as a way to promote a revised printed book. And Disequilibrium needs to be printed, fr.

Havent been on this app in years but please dont delete any of your stories I absolutely love them and do come back to re read. I too have lost my passion for writing but your old stories bring me so much nostalgia. It was an exciting time then when I was anxiously waiting for you to post another part. Your work is truly inspiring. So please if you can keep these around im sure a lot of us would appreciate it.
