As of today, I am changing Linda's name to Sasha because the meaning behind the name "defender of man" fits the book's theme wholeheartedly and....I find it a better name for the character.

Hello, Blue here. I plan to traditionally or self-publish "Linda Of Arc" soon because I believe it deserves to be published. Whenever the time comes, I will take down the book temporarily and if it's chosen to be published, I'll make an announcement. If there's no luck, the book will remain on Wattpad for the time being.
I don't plan on publishing other books from here because most aren't finished yet while some I rather keep on Wattpad. However, I am wholeheartedly passionate about publishing the LOA series and prequels in the future because I like to write something I would want to read and watch. Also, I want to bring out something new to a variety of readers and dream of a live-action adaptation of the series one day (if lucky).
Cooter Mistress Flirtatious has been taken down because my mind goes blank when it came to the prologue and overall plot of the story. The novel is shelved/on-hold for now.

I am leaving the prologue for LOA alone for now. The only change I'll make next is the summary as the second draft of LOA unfolds. At first, I wanted to do a flashback of events that shaped Linda's character in the prologue but it wouldn't make sense since I would have mentioned it in the previous chapters. Most of the chapters are 2k to 3k words, so I don't want to put too much exposition.
Only a dialogue change in Chapter 2. But writing a book can be hard sometimes. Because with all the planning done to this second draft, I'm trying to keep aware of where the plot is going. Like connecting everything and making sense out of it. Like trying to not make the secondary characters flat, writing new scenes, etc. It's a lot that makes my brain turn.
I already have a gazillion ideas written and typed for the series in general. My main concern is the execution of those ideas because the execution has to be spot on or else it'll tank.

The only changes I made in chapter 1 were the title and a few sentences in paragraphs and dialogue. I'm leaving it there for now. Because even after editing, there are still errors. So I'm not going to stress about it. This book will be edited less after the second draft is done because when it's done, ITS DONE. I'll only edit is the manuscript way more since I plan to self-publish or traditionally publish. I don't know about the second option because I heard a lot of cons about the traditional publishing industry in general.
I do want to traditionally publish this book because I believe in this story and am more passionate about it than all my other works. I want to show new stories in the market but just after hearing stuff about the trad publishing industry, I'm thinking of self-publishing. But I don't know and am not in a rush.
Plus, this series and the prequels will be the only ones I'll self-publish or traditionally publish. With other stories on here, not as much because I haven't spent that much time in them that would make me come up with that decision.
