so I woke up out my because my mother and father arguing back and forth with each other I tried to go back to sleep key word tried but I just ended up getting up already so I walked into my bathroom slammed the door and walked up to my bathroom mirror

I looked at myself in the mirror while sighing and started my morning routine once I was done doing my morning routine I stripped out my clothes turned the shower on and just took a quick shower just to wake myself up all the way

I got out of the shower and grabbed my towel and wrapped it around myself and walked out of the bathroom and walked up to my dresser and grabbed my lotion, deodorant, coconut oil, and put all that on myself

I grabbed my white lace thongs and bra and slid off her towel and put them on and walked over to her closet and grabbed her white crop top shirt and slid it on while grabbing her white long skirt and her white socks slid them on with her converses and

she smiled at herself and heard her parents arguing with her louder and louder she just rolled her eyes and grabbed her purse car keys and phone walked out of her room and walked downstairs she just she would hurry up and get enough money to move away from them she grabbed her AirPods out her purse and slid them in each ear and played her playlist on Apple Music she created last night

she just walked right past her arguing parents and walked out the house feeling the sun hit her skin she smiled and walked up to her Honda Accord this was the car she could get and please it was what she could afford and her savings went to this but she's happy she doesn't gotta walk everywhere she climbed into her car and pulled out her driveway and drove off to her job

(btw she's lives in California but the rich part is her parents are rich asfucc but she would rather work for her shit than have it being handed down to her like her thirst-hungry sister that they love and spoil to be they don't pay no mind to me and I'm glad x I just can't wait to get out of there but I'm Layla Thomas I'm 22 I also I have a best friend that's a sister to me then my damn sister)

I pull up in front of my auntie's Dash and Diner I get out of my car lock my car door and walk into the diner smelling freshly baked food I almost drooled all over myself I walked to the back of the diner and greeted the workers and greeted my auntie with a hug and a kiss on the cheek my auntie was a mother to me than my mother

I pulled my apron out of my lock placed my purse inside my locker closed my locker and watched one of the workers flip the sign I watched family and friends and couples walk into the diner with a smile on their faces

I sighed and walked from the back and walked up to a couple of tables took the orders walked back to the tables with the orders and sat the orders on the tables while wiping most of the empty tables

while wiping the tables down I saw four black cars pull up in front of the diner I raised my eyebrow and just shrugged my shoulders and continued to wipe the other tables while I was wiping down the last table 4 men dressed in suits walked into the diner my head turned towards the door and I watched the four men enter the diner and walked to the corner of the diner

I finished wiping the tables and walked to the back of the diner and walked into my auntie's office and looked at her while folding my arms and said "Um Auntie four guys in suits walked in and they sat in the corner" She stopped what she was doing and looked up at me with widened eyes and she got up out her seat and walked out her office and walked to the front of the diner and walked over to the dudes

I watched them chat with my auntie she was smiling while talking to these strange men I sat down at the front of the counter and watched two other dudes walk into the diner they walked up to me while looking me up and down one had the nerves to lip his lips while looking me in my eyes making me feel so fucking uncomfortable but the one on the right spoke up and said "table for two"

I looked at these two men like they were stupid because 1 this is not a damn 5-star restaurant and 2 I'm not about to do what this dude say but I have to be nice to the costumers

I grabbed two menus from behind myself and saw my auntie in a deep conversation with the four men I walked from behind the counter and walked to the back end of the diner and sat the two menus on the table

they both sat down and I pulled my notepad and pencil out and said "What would you two like to drink and eat" I said with the most fake smile on my face the one on the right of me looked at the menu

he said "I want pancakes with eggs and bacon and a cup of orange juice I dotted that down and looked at the dude on the left of me he was still looking at his menu then placed his menu down and looked at me

he said "I want waffles with eggs and sausage and a cup of coffee" While smirking at me I wrote that down fast and collected the menus walked away from the table walked to the back of the diner and gave are chief John the orders and he smiled and said "this might take a few minutes" I nodded

I watched my auntie walk away from the 4 strangers and walked to the back of the diner she placed her hand on my shoulder while smiling she looked me in the eyes kissed my forehead and said "Hunny could you go serve those 4 kind gentlemen for me"

I wanted to protest but I just nodded my head I walked from the back and walked over to the strange men and their eyes all landed on me I just sighed heavily while mumbling "god please save me"
