It had been two days since me and Meredith spoke to each other so I paged her to ask to a surgery with me.

Meredith: Hayes you paged me
Cormac:yah 14 year old appendectomy
Meredith:wow 14 that's a young age
Cormac:wanna scub in
Meredith:yeah,you comin
Cormac:of course it's my patient
Meredith:just stay out of my way

*The surgery was 9 hours,I got to know Meredith a little bit better,I saw Meredith scub
Cormac:you did a great job grey
Meredith:I always do,so did you
Cormac*laughs lightly*hy I've got some whiskey in my office you wanna come
Meredith:*smiles*I'd love to

Meredith POV
Me and Hayes got to his office and he poured me some whiskey and we talked
Cormac:so have any wild stories to tell.
Meredith: dozen
Cormac:care to share
Meredith: okay,intern year a male came in with a penetrating abdomen wound.A girl Megan came in with him.she had her hand in his chest
Cormac raised his eyebrows
She was holding a body cavity so we had to move her to surgery
Cormac nodded
When we got a CT we realized that the body cavity was a bomb
Cormac A bomb!
Yeah she got scared and ran.we thought the OR was going to blow up so when everyone ducked and found shelter,I put my hand in the body cat
Cormac: Meredith!you could have been killed you know
Meredith:I know, so u have and stories
Cormac:no not really
Meredith:what about you and Cristina
Cormac:what about her
Meredith:so you two haven't have
Cormac:God,no why u ask
Meredith:well you two kind of look cozy
Cormac: really I haven't noticed
I was about to say something but the door opened
Cristina: Hayes have you seen mere,ah well it's funny seeing you two together
Meredith:we were having drinks
Cormac:and telling stories
Cristina: which one
Cormac:the bomb one
Cristina:that one was the scariest day of my life I mean the second
Meredith: which one was your first
Cristina:oh when you gave birth during a storm
Cormac:you gave birth during a storm
Cristina:yes and she almost died knowing what the baby's name is and then bailey saved her and Derek calmed her down during her c section so she named her son Derek Bailey
Meredith:yeah a lot of surprises came along that year
Cristina: like our fight that lasted until April's wedding
Meredith:it wasn't really a wedding it was more of a
Cristina: Jackson is gonna give a lovely speech of how he loves April and runs away with her
Meredith: yeah
Cormac laughed a bit
My phone ringed a message from Amelia
Meredith:ok I have to go
Cristina:why
Meredith:I have kids
Cristina:they have Amelia and Maggie
Meredith:they are coming to work,it was nice talking to u both Hayes thanks for the whiskey I will see you all tomorrow.
I left and went home
