Close to death, he asks a great favor to the man saved in the past. Ada, a young commoner but descendant of a mysterious lineage, becomes the wife of Reyn, the knight's son. The new husbands barely get acquainted when Reyn must embark with King Louis IX's army for Egypt. It's the seventh crusade. 'The Wolf and the Snake' is a historical romance spiced with fantasy.
