Short and Sweet: Meet Elliot

Ah, Borrowers!

Don't we all know the stories?

Those adorably quaint little people, living underneath the floorboards and traversing within the walls, able to navigate so boldly through the dangerous world of the "human beans" -

(because being so adorably quaint, plucky and tiny, they must naturally have the mental capacity of a slightly retarded 5-year-old and are obviously unable handle something so complicated as 'grown-up language'  - HA! - properly).

And how sweet to think how they "borrow" -

(because it's not stealing if you only take a little)

- bits and bobs and odds and ends, that the "Human Beans" would not notice missing-

(it's also not stealing if nobody knows you did it)

- such as strings and tissues and pins, crackers, crumbs and lumps of sugar for their tea -

(why call it "borrowing" anyway? It's not like the food get's returned later on - unless the "sweet little darlings" in the stories have a bit of a nasty streak to them)

- to support themselves, - 

(in a lifestyle many a 17th-century peasant would laugh at)

 - all the while hiding from those very dangerous giant human beans, who must never be allowed to see the elusive borrowers -

(who, being so tiny and so adept at hiding, get spotted in 99 cases out of a hundred)

- because bloody patronizing bastards that they are, those goddamn human BEINGS aren't satisfied with being so effing large that they literally tower over you, noo, they have to be bloody condescending about it in their ridiculous stories as well!

So, let me make one thing very clear, this is the 21st century and we don't bloody frolic around stealing lumps of sugar because that shit gives you diabetes.

And screw your bloody pins and bits of string, the first thing any self-respecting kid will learn to "borrow" is your Wi-Fi Password and your Credit-Card details,
